Hey guys ill be there but still having problems w/ my car. Im in harker heights right now so if any of you would want to get w/ me and take a ride in my car and see if you can figure out what is wrong w/ it that would be great! I have my oem coils being overnighted to me from my hometown so hopefully once i install those the problem will go away.

Ahh, no wonder you are having your OEM coils sent to you...I just noticed you have the Mazsport ignition. Lot of people had issues with that...should look into doing LS2 coil swap. I'm doing mine for half the cost of BHR's.

 

I may swing by just to meet other 8 owners and have a few beers with you guys

I might be a little late, visiting some friends in Bastrop in yhr morn but should be back by 2. Gotta wash my pig too, she got dirty on drive down here. Oh, and WN wasn't the only one who suffered car troubles. I have now been dealt with a fuel starvation issue...I'll be ripping into the pump on Monday though. I will still drive her around just got to make sure I don't fall below a 1/4 tank for now.

 

ya, hopefully we can hit 195 for a cruise after the meal and meet.

 

I scoped out Boston's back parking lot and there is some room back there but not as much as I thought then again with only 3 to 5 people comming we won't need that many parking spots.

 

I just realized that there are two playoff games today. One of thm is at 2 and the other is at 5:30. I'm not sure how busy it will be there due to that. I guess we'll know in a bit. See you all there.

I think it is just the angle of that one pic. Look at the second pic, your car looks closer to Nic's in that shot.

well guys i made it back to iowa, but not w/ out my oem coils starting to crap out on the way back ! lol. .and now my starter went out once i got home so now she wont even start. im bout ready to trade her off for a g37 or 370z!

 

I see alot of people hating this car once it starts to go to hell, haven't had that issue with mine yet but I'll still stick with it.

 

yea, its just ridiculous how much is going wrong w/ this car so fast. none of my other cars have ever had so many problems just gettin to a point where im getting tired of messing w/ the same ****.. i love the rx8 in general my favorite car ive had but, i think its about for a change in my life....lol who knows might just get a new one but i want more power and tht means turbo which means more problems, i already have enough w/ my nitrous so i cant imagine w/ a turbo but we'll see. hope you all got back to where you needed to be safely!

 

I will never put nitrous or a turbo in, the car wasn't designed to be a corvette so I'm not modding it to be one.
