Killeen/ Fort Hood area 8s?

Come join in anyway. The 8 brought you here, but not having one anymore doesn't mean you have to go away.
So when and where should we do this then? How about sometime on Saturday December 20th? Maybe during the day, something like lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings in Killeen, then see what spawns from that? If we get a few positives then we should probably start a new thread on this too.

So, the 18th at 3:30? Sounds good to me. I should be in town by then...21 hr drive from NC, should put me there late Sat night. See you guys then.
Oh, just some insight on having meets twice a month...don't do it. My group did this for just over a year and it started strong but soon just became the same 5 people showing up. We have since started holding them once a month and varying the location also, we through in some road trips and go for drives. We are very lucky to have Virginia International Raceway on our door step so, we make every opportunity to visit the track and watch as many races as we can. Just a thought for you guys, coming from a 180 member group from a across the state. NCRotaries.com if you guys get a chance to check it out.

I know this is an old post but I moved back to killeen from colorado springs. I've seen around killeen. There was a red 8 driving around my street, it looked really low. Do you guys still cruise through Rancier?

Actually the thread started 11-04-2008, (this is page 2). The Jan 18 meet was in 2009, as in last year. Feel free to start one up though, just make sure to start a new thread, so it doesn't get lost in here.

The Killeen RX8 meets have pretty much died down. As for Rancier, I really don't know. The last I heard there was still some action over there on the weekends.

My 8 will be back on the road here in like 2 weeks just gotta get outta iraq and install all the parts that ive had sitting in my gargage since i was deployed if anyone wants to get together and get a club going let me know ill be down for the ride Yahoo Messanger : Spyder6625 hit me up and lets get some things going

Hey guys, I realize this is an older thread but I just got back from deployment and thought I'd check in.
First off, I've sold my 8. I honestly got tired of it breaking, and then fighting with Mazda dealers over warranty coverage. You don't even want to know what I'm driving now LOL
Also, I'll be selling any leftover parts I have here in classifieds. Factory body parts, OEM wheels, OEM airbox, downpipe, gauges etc. we'll see what turns out after I go garage diving.
There are TONS of 8s in the area now! If you can get them on here, you guys could probably put together a nice sized meet.

me and my girlfriend was trying to find some more 8s for a meet around the area im the loud wwp one and she is the loud VR one she got the idea to make up some fliers and put them out on any 8 she sees around the area linking us all here so i know i see alot of 8s in the area lets set up some stuff, with show season starting up in like 2 weeks its going to be hard pressed time for me to get both our cars finished for it. but its always good to relax and shoot the **** with others tho feel free to shoot a email to tyrantkill@tmail.com if interested in setting up a play date any time soon

Hey TyrantKill, is your girlfriend a tall blonde? I saw a VR that was loud when I was at the Killeen water office paying my bill. I guess that was hers after she walked in a few minutes after i saw the car.

It's pretty old. There hasn't been much in the lines of meets or anything else for that matter around there in a while. That and Dyess AFB is about 4 hours from the Killeen/Ft Hood area. You'd be better off finding some guys local or heading over to the DFW area. DFW stays pretty active and it's closer to you.
