At 220 lbs, the Kartzone cars favor the light guys to the point that weight determines who when more than driving skill.

I hope track21's "Integral engine fairing" does something to fix that. Big boys like myself need a little more HP (and a little less DQ :D )

I'm not a lightweight myself and can honestly say I have you beat by more than a few lbs on weight. I still managed to turn several 26 second lap times in one of the better tuned kart. Of course that still left me nearly a second behind the leaders.

If you work the corners pretty smoothly you can keep your momentum up and consequently the speed up too, of course nothing was going to help out #35 except a big kick in the [bleeep].

Car 35 at one point had a total lightweight in it who actually could drive good in the other cars. He still got dead last. The rest of the field was pretty well even. It was just that one car. Even the employees admitted it was slower.

Kiddy rides.. .LOL... not hardly.

The karts are very fast and quite challenging. These karts are a step or two below shifter karts (which are the first step to open wheel racing).

Many of racings top stars started out on these types of karts when they were young.
