Come one come all new and old to the Houston Weekly (more like every now and then) Meet!!!!!!!!

It's been a while since we've set up a weekly meet meet. With the Texas meet happening the next day I think its a good time to see who is going or wants to go.

Also a couple of the Houston RX-8 guys are having problems with their cars so perhaps we can get together and see if there is anything we can do to help.

More than anything else, come out and have some fun!

 

Lots of views but no one has said they wanted to go yet.

Anyone interested in a meet?

I think this will probably be the last meet of the year since Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.

Probably best to plan this Feb 2009. Gives everyone a chance to enjoy the upcoming holidays, and have their Christmas presents installed so they can show them off at the meet

Looks like the meet is cancelled this time around. Maybe sometime next year we can get it going again. It seems summer time has the best turn outs though.

 

Yeah I would love to, but RX-8 is still in the body shop. I do have a INGS+1 rear spoiler in my Vehicross waiting to be put on the 8 once it is out though!

 

Bad time for me also. School is owning me and I was a victim in a hit and run with my 8 just last week.

 

Ouch, sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel any better same thing happened to me a few months ago. I made a thread about it in the lounge. Luckily the frame was not damaged at all. Only thing that got screwed up was the drivers side fender, head lights, and bumper.

 

I got lucky with my damage compared to yours...dented fender and a bunch of scratches on my passenger side. (A truck driver plowed through a person riding their bike and the person was thrown over the truck. The bike flew up in the air and landed on my 8.)

I am down for the next meet...hopefully I can finally install my mods that I neglected for a couple of months by the next meet

 

Would have been a nice nice to hang out.... I went to Weezer instead.

The Houston RX-Club meeting is next week, maybe we will see you guys there.

Last meeting we had several RX-8s.
