sounds good, got it pretty much done, have a forum and all that now, there's still some work to do but I'm so happy with it now, can't believe 24 hours ago I had nothing, now I built a site from scratch with almost no php experience or anything. (talk about a confidence booster lol) Feel free to stop by and register if you like

 

i got my first Christmas present... (opps this is garland!) i bought myself a laptop!!! im a nerd but thats ok... im a nerd with a laptop...

 

Circuit city had laptops today for 200 bucks, 60gb drive, 512mb, radeon video....there were lines so long they stretched out the store and then some...what a crazy day

 

thats where i got mine! my daddy and i were the first two in line.. he got there at 2 pm on thanksgiving day and i got there about 7ish on thanksgiving! i love this thing though! it was well worth the cold wait until 5 am!

yeah... a notebook for 200 bucks down from 800 of course im dedicated lol....

 

I rolled into circuit city at 5:05am on friday morning.. it was NUTS in there.
All i needed was my memory stick, which i got.

Was the laptop tied into some AOL rebate thing? I heard about that earlier in the week and decided to not go for it

 

wow, and i thought I was a techie, I aints got nuttin on you lol

 

yeah you save 250 instantly when you signed up for AOL for one year... i was concerned about that too but thought about the savings and needing a computer so i didnt care

 

Yeah... its not really a bad deal.. but i am already in contract with SBC dsHELL so i can't break the contract. If i wasn't tied down i would have been all over that deal.
