Scalli, are you going to be at your shop in Haslet anytime in the next few weeks? I was thinking I could pick up my exhaust with the explorer while I have it.

I like that too but the 2k is a little harse for a glorified Palm Pilot That screen is even smaller than the one I am installing. That would be the biggest drawback. I also have my doubts about the audio chipset on that is well. Since it is not really designed for a multimedia system I would be shocked if it put out a high quality audio.
Plumbing that in to the AUX on the head unit and finding out it sounded like an AM radio would suck

I will be at the shop over the weekend. I won't have a set time until it gets a little closer. At some point I have to try to hookup with Anthony on the dash piece so a lot depends on his schedule. You have my cell so give me a call

It will mainly be used as an MP3 player. We have 180 gigs of MP3's at my workplace. Most of the **** I don't like but there is just about every song I have ever heard that I do like as well. So with custom playlists I should never have to hear a song I don't like again or even the same song twice for months
It will have the GPS as well that would have came in really handy last Saturday when I was trying to find my daughter's cheerleading competition in Hebron
Using tools from Netstumbler.com you can get to the internet from almost anywhere nowadays. From there you can pull over and send and receive email if something important comes up. With Skype you could make an internet phone call if need be.
You can play DVD's to keep the occupants happy on extended drives.
Alot of things could not/should not be attempted when driving but using common sense there is a huge range of uses.

All the guts will mount to the bottom side of the dash piece I will have mounting points for the mainboard and harddrive at the bottom. The power supply attaches directly to the connector on the mainboard and requires no mounting.
In it's delivered form everything will be self-contained on the carbon fiber dash piece. The dash pieces will have four choices of finish

CF = Carbon Fiber. That's the only thing I understood from your quote.
I was refering to the "Geussing you"I do the black" part.

He was probably thinking you were asking him and not me that question. That was what I thought anyways. Mine will be the red/black CF because of the seats.
