"smalk talk" ?? Who's Amanda? Do you have another roommate? As far as following each other to the other location, I'm game so long as you don't drive like a woman. Women drivers are really scary to me.
That's also a party foul to forewarn waitresses of me. Besides, they should have name taggs. I think I will bring out a couple of those "Hello my name is..... " stickers. This way they can wear it on their chest and I'll always be looking at the name tag. It wouldn't hurt. :D

 

yup thats my baby!!! i went after work today to check on her and she was out in the parking lot so i checked the oil and jacked my keys and took her out for a little spin. no passenger windows but it was DAMN good to get out in her again!!!

as for the new location...that is right up the street from me. i'm at mid-cities and rufe snow...

i could care less where we go but i know that the rack daddy's here in hurst isn't as nice as the one in ft. worth. it actually just plain ghetto. someone needs to find out what specials they run if any cause its hard to beat free pool and $2 drinks!

 

oh yeah...i'm tring to find something to do with the old doors...i get to keep them. any ideas?

 

Well my baby sitter is just down the road from the one in south fort worth so If it changed to that location I would have to drive down there drop off the baby then drive all the way to the other side of town and then back again so it not convienent for me. But if it is conveinent for everyone else please go ahead I just won't be able to make it up there. Might want to find out if they have free pool on tuesdays and is its a **** hole like some of them are. The one down here is brand new and not a smoke hole.

 

Cool, I wondered whose 8 that was. The guys at Gotham have been friends of mine for awhile and that's how I met Martin. He does nice work and that's who I told Slim he needs to take his car to for the keyed problem.

 

Wait, the pool was supposed to be free? They charged me $4 and a little change for the hour or so I played? Hmmmm, I know a certain bartender that is going to get called a punk next Tuesday It is more a principle thing than the lousy $4.
My whole bill was like $25 which for $2 drinks did not seem to add up even with the pool added.
So I think next week I will pay per drink instead of starting a tab as to avoid kicking a bartenders *** at the end of the night and going to jail.

 

Pool is free if you have a college ID.

I vote against moving if it's going to cause us to lose a member. Jenkins, it just wouldn't be the same without you... you are the one that started getting us together! Oh well... It's up to you guys, but it's not worth it for me.

 

The free pool is with student ID, however, I talked to the manager last Tuesday and since we meet there on a weekly basis for the car club, he gave me a free table also. I think they also have a deal with some companies like Lockheed. I was at the bar when a guy showed his Lockheed ID and they gave him a table as well. I pay cash for drinks, because I've looked at my bill many a morning after a long night and didn't think it added up. I've even had a friend of mine fill out the tip part of my tab before because I was too drunk to see the numbers. Well, if you decide to ever do that, make sure your friend isn't in a drunken happy mood either. He ended up tipping the waitress $75 on a $50 tap so my total was $125, but that's what happens when you go to Babydolls.

 

It's kind of early to call, but I'll check on the Lockheed part for you guys and see what kind of deals we can get, if any.

I know beers are $2, but I'm not sure about mixed drinks.

And I too don't want to play in at a crappy place. Rack Daddy's pretty nice compared to many of the other pool joints around here. I'm with Slim on losing Jenkins. I only showed up because he was there.

 

I work for a local defense contractor as well so I will give a call to them and see if they will give my comany the same deal as Lockheed. Besides I used to work at Lockheed too.
I'm glad to know that it was a legit charge for the pool. Especially before I gave the bartender **** over it That would be a little embarrassing. As far as the tab goes I bought Gideon and Soloman a drinks and David so.... well I guess the tab was legit. Disregard that post. When I thought the earlier post indicated we were supposed to have free pool I was pissed. They may have charged me because I was the worst pool player they ever saw and the other patrons complained about the cueball incident

 

Ok, I called and not only was the lady not friendly, the specials change every week and she doesn't think they do anything for Lockheed anymore. Sorry guys.

 

cool! ive been friends with steve for years. i've also known brock and martin since back in the days of the KFC meet up. i used to work there at the KFC in bedford with John Hodges and me and a few frends decided to start meeting up there on wednesdays and it ended up exploding into something huge!

 

Which place did you call? Like I said, according to the manager at the Rack Daddy's off Bryant Irving, he will let us play for free. If you want, I'll call and speak to him again or I'll go by there and see if he would even reserve the four tables in the corner for us. Since I have a "natural" way with people, (see my rant with Hooters) one of two things will end up happening. 1. We will be able to get the four tables reserved and have free pool or 2. I won't be allowed to go back to Rack Daddy's. If that happens, I'll just add them to the list of places that I'm not allowed to back to.

 

There was a Kentucky Fried Chicken meet? or meat? mmmmmm...... chicken, the better alternative to eating our young. BTW what's up EG??

 

I called the location on Bryant Irvin. If the mgr says free pool then let's just leave it at that. This chick said she doesn't know what goes on at night and it just depends on whose working. The last thing we need is for you to be banned from Rack Daddy's too.

 

ok the rack daddy's over here in hurst SUCKS!!! its a dirty little **** hole where all the tables are too close and the service there sucks. i have NO problem driving to ft. worth to play some free pool hey slim if you need a place to crash our couch is always open!

Thats what I thought, I hate going to places that haven't been kept up. Thanks for the support tot guys but I am just like yall and like to hang out with the group.

 

And yes it is free pool with a College ID, let us youngin's get your pool man. We can usually get enough tables to make everyone happy.

 

Plus our regular waitress Allison knows me at Rack Daddy's.

 

Allison... What's next? Sorry I brought it up, I just knew it was closer to some people (including myself) so I thought i would mention it. I'll be there most of the time no matter where we go. I think me, Dazy, and Jenkins are the only one's there EVERY week now! I started to suggest Bell bottoms, but then I remembered... nevermind :D

Anyway, packing my stuff... about to leave for Arkansas. I left my job for the last time today, so my whole life is about to change. Hopefully they won't have me working too much OT at my new job. I guess I'll talk to everyone Monday or Tuesday night.
