OK, I am hear at FT Sill for MOB station. I have seen quite a few RX8's hear. I have spotted a Black, Red and Siver 8's on post. I just wanted to say HI.

Hey just put on a new CF intake by Simota on my 8, quicker throttle response, and sounds great! It is the new CF Simota Charger Intake, not the old wide model. I bought it from rx8strakes.com. Easy to install, took me a couple of hours because i straigtened up some cables and cleaned around the engine bay.

 

I definitely want to check out that Simota intake sometime. You were at IFO at Thunder Valley Last year right? I'm pretty sure that was you i saw there last year.

 

Yes that was me at IFO. The Simota intake is working great! sounds great and the throttle response seems quicker.

I went to a car show here in lawton at the Carmike, won 1st import wild, best engine!, best ICE, and BEST OF SHOW! over 120 cars and trucks in the show.

A performance tricked out rx-7 won last year mazda category and he really deserved it.

Well the 19th of this month is Import Face Off at Thunder Valley in Noble, OK. I'll be there, sounds like sandnsun7 may be there, and a buddy of mine with an 8 will be there. Hopefully we can get a few of us there and finally get something going in Oklahoma!

Finally here with my 8, got the PCM replace under warranty - long story - and now I have to make her pretty again. Needs a good wash, clay bar, wash, wax.... it will be a very long day when I finally get that done. I'll be signing into work this week so who knows when I'll get to actually do that.

If you see a Nordic Green 8 driving around the Lawton/Ft Sill area - wave!! I wave at 8's.. sometimes I get waves back, sometimes I get dirty looks of Who the F is that?? lol Hopefully this area is more friendly then the last place I was stationed ( 8 drivers I mean)

ahhh, ft sill is the armpit of the midwest..i went to boot camp and artillery school there. Good luck..... do they still have dragons west there. I still remember getting a gallon of beer there for 7 bucks.
