there is an autozone if you take a right after heading west-bound on I-10, its on wurzbach rd. its like 2 lights down on the right after you turn on wurzbach

 

Had to give the car a quick wash but im gonna be there coming from the southside so gotta gas up ha ha

 

Ok well I would say we had a good showing for the first night. Maybe next time we can actually make it into the establishment before it closes

Some of the ideas were to make it a monthly meet on the first Sunday, everyone ok with that? I was also thinking maybe a Saturday or Friday night in the mix. Also could change up the location from meet to meet.

It was also good to see the significant others out there too ( I mean the wife/gf not the car)

So lets hear some ideas!!! And spread the word to RX7 owners too!!!

 

hey , hah i know it was kinda wierd for me to stop and be like "oh cool rotary!" but i know ya'll do it from time to time. i dont think there is a way to do it and not look wierd walking up to a group of strangers.

haha, was nice seeing you... never expected someone to randomly drive by who also owned a rotary... let alone someone driving a sushi zushi bug... I know of at least 1 or 2 other 7 owners so I'll let them know if I remember.

I think tonight's meet was good just because we finally got that first meet out of the way... now it should be easier to get more people to show up on a regular basis.

Also, as mentioned, we might try to get some caravans together from time to time to show up at austin meets. Tonight was fun, glad we managed to get a meet together finally.

 

Yeah, it was cool last night. I think some breakfast and a fun run would work well on a Sunday morning personally... assuming they don't close the damn highways like this weekend!

Hit up a Jim's or IHOP or something then go on a little drive....

Yeah, we should definately make this a regular thing. We can even throw a couple of mod days in. I am between houses right now but I close soon on my new house and I will have a full garage with tools.

Who is heading up the Marble Falls run? Marble falls is a great drive.

Sushi Chick was so random. But our meets don't have to be RX8 specific either. all rotaries are welcome as far as I am concerned.

last night was fun, I would be interested in doing a cruise to ATx this weekend as long as we can stretch our gas tanks by 6th gearing the whole way LOL

hah a cruise would be awesome but it would prob caust me about 100 bux to get there and back... idk bout you but mine gets like 10mpg and so does my bf's

I usually work sunday from 10:30 till 3 ish but I can probably get off once a month if that's going to be how often we meet. Visiting home for father's day this weekend but after that I'm going to be here a while.
