sunnnnooofffffaaaaabiiiiitttttch, My 8 kicked the bucket after dinner tonight as I was on my way home to drop off the kids before the meet. Sorry I could not make it guys but I won't miss another.

 

Ok so lets get some feed back on a Sep meet. I found a nice curvy road by Olmos park the other night, speed limit is 20 but at 40-50 i was having some fun. The only draw back is that on one side is high end residential housing, so we have to be quick to get out of there.

As of right now, I am thinking about meeting in the parking lot next to the Embassy Theaters near 281/ Bitters. There is a fast eddies, wing stop and wise guys there. Parking lot is big enough to hold all 10-15 that show LOL. Anyone else have some places they would like to meet at?

Also the date???? i am thinking we should probably do it the 2nd weeked in Sept. so we don't involve a holiday weekend.

 

I feel your pain..... I had to take mine in today. The transmission and other problems were just too much to over look. So day 1...... getting a rental car 2 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrr and to think i use to like enterprise. Hopefully I will have my baby back tomorrow.

LOL wasn't me....yall absolutely have to check out park road 37 off of 16 (Bandera). I went to Medina Lake this weekend and the road is nuts. It is very close to 1604 , only a couple minutes to get there. But, I am down for whatever :P

 

I like that area down bandera... have gone down that way a few times with a friend and one of the times we found this awesome highway that was extremely smooth and curvy... problem is I dont remember what road it was lol.

 

That sounds like 16(Bandera)...its 65 speed limit, huge 4 lane highway with median. Maybe we could do a cruise out there and find some kind of place to eat at.

 

Im down for a cruise out to Bandera, I am sure there are some nice BBQ spots out there. Saturday sound good?

 

If its this Sat then it would have to be after noon for sure, gotta run an errand but if so then thats fine. We may have to wait another week that way we can make another thread and gauge everyone's input and w/e

 

might not be able to get people together that quickly... I know I cant... I have work till 3:30 and going out of town for a week the next day so gotta get some stuff out of the way before that...

 

That Bandera run is really nice. I'm down just let me know.

 

I know its kinda late ... but some have showed interest in a Saturday meet over the Labor weekend..... who is up for something?
