F*ck Officer B. McCall of the Farmers Branch PD

So i'm driving 70km per hour today to my friends shop. I don't know what the posted speed limit is, nor do i care... because im driving slower than all h*ll on a big empty road. I'm keeping the speed down and off boost because
A - I dron't drive fast on the public roads. Thats what the track is for.
B - My Oil Return hoose was shredded, and thats the reason why i was headed to the shop. BTW, got that fixed.

I keep my gauges in KM/H because im JDM like that , but that coverts to 43 mph. The road is divided with trees in the median, and as soon as the cop comes from behind the tree he immediately makes a U-turn behind me. So i guess he has the quickest draw with the radar gun to get it on my in less than split second. If he already had it mounted and on... he wouldn't have even picked me up because i was at the bottom of the hill, he was at the top, and the road he was on was angled away from me.

Well he pulls me over and tells me the speed limit was 35. Then he lies and tells me im doing 55, which is conveniently exactly 20 mph over the speed limit... which is the exact point where a ticket goes from expensive to f*cking expensive.
The whole time he's big a complete smart a*ss and smirking to himself and cracking jokes. My friends eye was burning and I asked if they had any water... he blows it off as if it is the most ridiculous question ever. I asked to see the radar, but he started chuckling and saying state law allows him not to show it. I know thats true, but no need to be an a*sshole about it.
Oh, i also got a ticket for my expired registration. Luckily the bastard was too lazy to check to see that i didn't have a front license plate.

Anyway... i'm pretty f'ing pissed. I drive slow, im the most anti-street racing person in this city, i'm just trying to get my car to the shop... and now i have to deal with this police bull sh*t. On top of all that, i'm pretty f'ing broke right now and really can't afford this b.s. ticket.

If i were truly speeding, i wouldn't mind paying the ticket. No problem... its all fair. With this... I'm gonna contest it in court, but with any ticket... your automatically guilty. The only evidence i can have is essentially driving with a camera in my car 24/7. Well i'll try my case, just so i can call the cop out as an a*sshole in court and a disgrace to the badge he wears, then harrass his munkey a*ss before and after the trial.

you could get a lawyer, they're usually fairly inexpensive and will get you out of most any ticket.

I do dislike most cops though, they always think they're so high and mighty and yet they get hammered with my friends ex-husband and drive home drunk *cough bedford police cough*.

Also, they always think im a drug dealer. I have no idea why. Every time I've been pulled over since I was 18 years old (I'm almost 26, I get pulled over maybe once or twice a year) they ask me all kinds of drug related questions and ask to search my car, etc. I don't dress like a drug dealer. I don't have a range rover with 22's. I don't smoke, so I don't stink like ash. I don't have a weird haircut or purple hair or something obnoxious.

Oh, and once, the irving police told me to get out of the car cause he wanted to search it. I told him no because it was 3am and I didn't want to stand on the side of loop12 at that hour. He then proceeded with the old "you can get out of the car or you can go to the station". I told him he wasn't gonna find anything anyway and got out. He then told me to stand behind my vehicle with my hands on my hand and to lean against the trunk facing forward.

What a ******* dickface, like I'm some god damn criminal getting taken to the precinct.

He searches my car, finds nothing of course. Then checks EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to give me a ticket for. When he finishes, he writes a ticket for a "wide right turn". *******. It's nearly impossible to get on loop12 at that intersection without making one, because the entrance ramp is so close to the light! Thats like writing a ticket because you changed more than 1 lane and didn't resignal.

Man this guy deserves this joke

RECTUM STRETCHER
By Jack Smith

While she was "flying" down the road yesterday (10 miles over the limit), a woman passed over a bridge only to find a cop with a radar gun on the other side lying in wait.

The cop pulled her over, walked up to the car, and with that classic patronizing smirk we all know and love, asked, "What's your hurry?"

To which she replied, "I'm late for work."
"Oh yeah," said the cop, "what do you do?"

"I'm a rectum stretcher," she responded.

The cop stammered, "A what? A rectum stretcher? And just what
does a rectum stretcher do?"

"Well," she said, "I start by inserting one finger, then work my way
up
to two fingers, then three, then four, then with my whole hand in. I
work from side to side until I can get both hands in, and then I slowly
but surely stretch, until it's about 6 feet wide."

"And just what the hell do you do with a 6 foot *******?" he asked.

"You give him a radar gun and park him behind a bridge..."

Traffic Ticket $95.00
Court Costs. $45.00
The Look on Cop's Face. PRICELESS

I was with you until I read the "expired registration" and "no front plate" part. I'm sure that you're a pretty good driver, but c'mon the law is the law.

You don't have a right to see the radar? Since when?
Where is that law written down?

If he wanted to pull me over because he saw the no plate or registration thats fine... but don't bs me on some fake speeding ticket.

PS, a front plate would block air to my intercooler... turbo trumps johhny law anyday of the week.

I've heard it before, but i don't know where to look to see the law. I hope he brings a print out of the radar to the courthouse at least because i would love to see it.

Challenge the ticket. Make sure you tell the judge your registration and front plate don't exist. Go to court wearing jeans and a hat while your at it.

hat won't fit over the turban.

I'm not in the mood to pay registration and inspection (that will be expired in 4 days as well) for the full year when i'm leaving the state in 2 months. Yup, i know its illegal... but at this point, i really don't give a f*ck.
The front plate is staying off. Like i said before.. i'm not going to block air to my intercooler.
Also add no Catalytic Converter and clear corners to the list of illegalities on the car. Once again... i dont care.

I feel your pain.

I need to go play some GTA4 and let out this rage. Nothing is better than a game where i can get head from a hooker, kill her and get my money back, and then later kill cops all night long... good times

CC's aren't illegal in texas. Also, the light can either be amber or white.

It's a money making racket.. Either you pay the judge or the lawyer. If you get the lawyer then you only pay the court costs and if you don't then you pay the fine and the court costs. I think I read that the conviction rate for traffic tickets is something like 96%

So what about if you just don't pay the ticket? It's not like you're gonna be living in Texas for much longer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 43 in a 35 speeding? Yeah that cop was huge dick and that sucks big time but I guess if you're going 36 in a 35 you're technically "speeding." I got a ticket for a school zone that wasn't clearly marked and a cop jumped out of the bushes with a radar gun and waved me to pull over on foot, that pretty much sucked but what can you do.

^I've had a cop jump out from beside the road and wave me into a parking lot before. I swerved around him acting like I was surprised that a pedestrian had suddenly run out into the road. He did wait until the last second. He never chased me and I never heard anything of it. If they are too lazy to get into their car to chase me down then I'm going to be too lazy to hit the brakes to stop for them. What will they want next? Will I have to fill out the ticket too?

HPD (Houston) cops get paid extra for going to court. A law was also passed last year that requires them to go so there's not much good in hoping they don't show up. The more people that fight the ticket, the more times they go to court and the more they get paid. You can't win here. An HPD cop made the papers last month because he made $175,000 last year. Most of it from "overtime".

I've always envisioned a deviced thats bascially one huge black LCD cell (you know like the big "cells" that make up nnumbers on a pocket calculator.... its clear when no current goes thru it and then instantly black when you pass current thru it. Slap that over the rear license plate (and front if you have it) and if you are in a siutation where a cop is flagging you down on foot... flip a switch, block your plates, and haul *** :-p (would work great for speed cameras too, and tollbooths!)

hah

Toxin440,
they already sell kits for hideaway plates on AutoLoc.com. Not the direction i would personally go with this, but just a heads up that its available if you are interested.

CosmosPower,
You are correct. 43 in a 35 is speeding, but on a 3 lane open road on a saturday afternoon with no other traffic around, there is a huge difference in safety between going 43 and 55. Also, 35 is just painfully slow... if i had my car in 6th going 35... not good. So instead i had my car in 6th, crusing at about 2200 rpm, which was 43 mph.

The last ticket i got before this was for going 40 in a 30 in addison. 30??!??!?!?!??! Anyway, the week after i got the ticket, they upped the speed limit to 40 (this if on Araphao, over the bridge that crosses midway). So, yeah... sometimes the city realizes that setting a speed limit too low can also be dangerous, but nonetheless i still had to pay the fine. I was ok with that one though. I was doing 40, i got a ticket for going 40... no problem.

Sounds like what James Bond would do. I actually saw this one time on a TV show about a Ferrari this guy was getting a $10,000 paint job on. He had plates that would flip around like one of those motorized concealed stereo faceplates.
