I am going into withdrawal I haven't driven my RX in about a month, I crashed it a while back and apparently I messed it up more than I thought. I needed a new headlight, fender, radiator mount, and bumper. This really sucks, the only good thing is instead of buying a replacement bumper, I went ahead and bought a mazdaspeed body kit. I can't wait till i get Nimbus back, and I will post new pics with the body kit.

Hey guys, my name is Chris, I live on the east side. I've been looking for a thread like this. Sure beats trying to wave down every 8 owner I see here, which doesn't seem like much.

Welcome i think i have seen your car there as well. I drive a silver one with a ms body kit and carbon fiber wing, i drive a bunch so i am sure you've seen me around.

haha thats awesome, I didn't think would recognize or even remember just another black 8, let alone where i work. Yeah i've dropped it since, so check it out tell me what you think, or just look at my thread. I know i've seen the silver one but not the one with the ms kit, but i'll keep my eye out. I think i've actually waved to a guy in a silver one around there. cool deal.

haha yeah i remember a silver 8 by trawood, but did you just recently get clear corners or have you had them, because if I remember right the silver one I saw had the stock ones.
I wonder if that dude has the carbon fiber ms "style" wing, because I've seen those on ebay and was wondering about the fitment. hmmm maybe you should post some pics rotary?

Evo - Yea that's Me I work around subway at the tattoo shop. That other rx with the red letters is named chris, he has come in here a couple of times and i don't like the letters either but to each his own. I got the kit from sportcompactonly.com $1100 its a extreme dimensions urethane kit fitment is really good but the guys that put it on suck, I need to get it redone.
Onyx - 27 yea i am old, and no its a hyperwings cf wing had to take off factory one and bolt this one to the trunk i will post pics soon just need to remember to take them.

wow looks really close the ms kit. i really can't tell anything is off with these pics, looks good, also with the staggered wheels. Maybe a small drop should be in order. I would get the ms wing just cuz it looks so close to the ms kit, but thats just me. looks good though.
o i'm 22 btw, I go to UTEP, and just got my 8 this past may. its an '06 but i'm really lovin it. big upgrade from a civic.
i still think its really cool that i found this thread. i mean you don't even think that other people with 8s in ep would be on this forum. cool deal.

o has anyone seen some dude with the phantom blue on the east side? i tried to wave him down, but was going in the opposite direction. its such an awesome color in person, but i only got a glimpse of it..

I agree on the drop, i have the mazdaspeed springs at home just waiting on saving the cash to do the mazdaspeed shocks at the same time. When i lived on the westside i use to see a blue on at the j edwards jewler, but on the eastside haven't seen any.
By any chance did you buy your car from thrifty i remember seeing one there and wanting to buy it for my wife.

haha yeah thats exactly it!! it was cosmetically in bad shape when I got it, looked like the previous owner didnt care for it too much, but ive worked hard to try and get it looking satisfactory. but yeah it was my end-of-finals gift to myself.

The guy with the phantom blue's name is Emilio. I met him through this site and I even have a class with him! It IS an awesome color.
He said he bought it in Cruces just because Mazda of El Paso wasn't going to get any phantom blues.
Also, do you guys know who the other silver RX-8 is? He works at taco bell infront of best buy I think, well its parked there so i assume he works there aswell
He recently painted it a 2 tone color, bottom silver top black with red borders it looks awesome.

I don't know either but oh well. The other silver car looks cool but its not for me don't like the wheels either. Needs to do something else to tie it all together.

Hey guys, I have pm'ed EVOFUSION before but have been way to busy with work and everything to stay in touch much less cruise the forums. I live on the east side too. Sunlight Silver, Mintblue spoiler (genuine), dropped, etc, etc. I have seen a couple of you all around town. I try not to drive it too much, these El Paso roads are freakin' horrible. Just short drives here and there and some highway.
