Thanks alot for the compliments guys. Sorry for the late reply. I have not been visiting this site for a while now. So hows the fellas doing here in EP? and how are your 8's? Man its been a while since we have had a meet up. We need to plan one. When are all the army dude's come back home? We should make up a big meet. Recently, on the streets I have been seeing alot of Rx8's. If you guys know any of em you should invite em to join this site so we can all unite to make up a big Rotary MEET! Few weeks back, I've met this chick with a yellow 8 on the freeway. I asked her to stop by at a gas station and took her # lol, we had a lil chat and she is down to meet up with us rotarians. LETS PLAN FELLAS! Its been a while. Peace

YO.. Whats good peeps.. Sadly I'm in school.. But.. Just got my 8 from the dealer back.. new motor. AP underdrive pulley, AP dual res midpipe, and custom Y pipe midpipe back. Endless Brake pads front only for now. Cobb tuner in the mail.. WORD!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a silver rx8 in the lower valley. I haven't been able to drive it for a few months though. I'm a deployed Marine. You might see me driving around town in April when I'm supposed to get back. Can't wait! I miss my 8!

I know this is a long shot but here it goes 
.... I need atleast 3 rx8s to help me out this Saturday April 24 from 12pm to around 6... My sister is having her sweet 16 and wants to be driven around by rx8s, think of it like an rx8 cruise hahaha I know I2oy will be helping me out and atruerx8 can't make it due to some radiator problems... And yesterday one of myfriends engine blew... I know it's a short time noticed but it's a try... You guys will get your tank filled with gas and if you will like stay for the party you can get drunk with all of us lol 
....I know we haven't met any of the new members to the forum but this is chance in meeting a few rx8s around the area Give me a text ASAP to 929-3709

Well just to let you guys know im back in el paso. Ill have my car back on monday and ready to roll and start making some meets. Ive already seen a blue r3 at the px on bliss today and a gray and red 8s on biggs. Hope they are on forums and they can come to some meets!

well PT.. You will know me if you see me.. I'm the only 8 on bliss with a lifted hood, red and six inch tint line in the front windshield. Also.. the exhaust is crazy loud. but not too extreme.. look for me..

I'm down. My 8's radiator is gonna be repaired on Monday. Let's plan a meet before the 25th... that's when I'm leaving out of country for a month. Who's up for a meet? Vote on time and day to meet up. I'm free this whole week.

Hey what's up everyone. Sorry haven't been on in awhile. I have a question, a couple of weeks ago I went to Colorado Springs and back in about two days. I let my car sit for about two days after and when I started her up there is a ticking sound coming from the engine. I did research and said it was probally a bad plug or wire not tight enough. I changed plugs and bought new wires and it is still ticking. It sounds faster with higher revs. Is there anything else it could be. Thanks for any help you may offer.
Well I found another post about the same ticking noise and they said it might be carbon buildup so I seafoamed today and still the annoying tick. Please Help. Hahaha

Well thank you all for the help. I done everything and could not fix the ticking noise. Took it to Rudolph Mazda here in el paso and the tech said I needed a new engine and needs all the service records. Well needless to say I didn't have any since I do my own maintainance. Well they said bring receipts. I didn't have any and asked if bank statements with the local parts store would be good. They said they would try and I brought them in to get sent to corporate. Well after a day of nervousness I got the good word on a new engine. Whew. So in about two weeks I should be back on the streets. Thank you Rudolph Mazda

With schedules, school, and work, I don't expect our gatherings (or lack there of) to be as organized as some of the other places I've been (Atlanta/Dallas). But really, let's get something going.
