And I KNOW we have some new people wanting to meet everyone. What's the point of having a DFW crew if we cant be around to welcome the new 8's? We suck! (You guys suck anyway, I don't have an 8 anymore.) DFW Mazdas should be a secondary source for meets, not a replacement for the 8club gatherings! Right?!

ALSO. I finally got my wish of having another badass chick in the club-Sheena!! And she brings with her the first and only boy rx8 so far in the DFW area, Mr. Damien Wankel Perez (I think?). So listen. We NEED to get together. So I can have my new friend. And your cars can drool over the one boy car in the parking lot while we drink.

I still despise Mazda but as long as I have the 8 I'll have a love hate relationship with her. I can't wait to see her sold but I'll have another someday that will be better than her. I do still lurk from time to time. I just have no reason to post anymore

 

I'm here. You guys can call me 'Sonny'. I'm in the city of Plano.

I may not be able to make it to very many meets at all, but I still want to give a heads up and let everybody know that I'm around, haha. Sorry, family/work/track life take too much out of me, but I definitely have much respect for my fellow 8 owners.

Okay. Meeting places. Any ideas? Culvers in Flower Mound may be kinda central without the headache of construction on 114? Except for Joe coming from Rowlett...but you can bring the RV and make a road trip out of it! Bring the fam, make it a vacation.

 

Well in typical Thomas blunt *** whole fashion, I can tell you why I don't post up meets for new people any more: cuse the new people rarely show up. The problem is that they don't have the relationships established like we do, so they don't check the boards as often or as frequently as we do, and even having tried sending IM's to people to let them know about meets doesn't seem to work on them either.

So, I will show up to meets that I can make, but will not likely try to get meets together for new people unless I really really want a meet (like the cruise I setup less than a month ago....
