Question DFW Rotary Club domain name choices.

OK...so we are starting a DFW area club...the choices for domain names are :

road-club.com

road-club.org

RotaryOAD.com

RotaryOAD.org

Please get your choices in by Wednsday May 5th, and we will put the website together, and get it setup...

Ask Myself, Ajax, or Renesis if you have any questions...

If we are going to have a site, we ought to have some art...here you have a little idea. If someone want the Photoshop layered file -someone has gotta know what I am talking about- I can upload and host for a while.

This thing can easily be changed to say Dallas, or we could use a Big D instead.... :D

I've actually designed a website or two so the site should have plenty of eye candy if it comes out like I've imagined.

Since I tend to operate on late shift hours, I will try and post some ideas later (yes, later) tonight.

Here's the logo ideas ...

This first one would be the first thing visitors to the site would see upon entering.

The colors are not set at yellow/blue, and can be easily changed if anyone wants to see a certain color or combination of colors.

this is the "badge" logo.

This would be used as an accent to the main logo and could be slightly modified to make a nice sticker/etc.

Again, same deal, colors are all interchangeable.

As far as design goes, I will be keeping it rather simple.

Some items I am curious about are:

-A news page that is easy to update (and could be updated by more than one person)

-Event Calendar

Here's where the design is headed. The links would have some sort of MouseOver effect, and the top portion would be an animated gif file that fades from picture to picture.

Not a complete design by any means, but it is the base idea of my intended design.
