I would drive to Dallas if I had a good oportunity. Its not that far, I think others driving alot farther
I don't see what ya'll are complaining about. I live less than 5 miles from Jenkins and I drove to BJ's every other Thursday for over a YEAR! There's an install party on the other side of town and you're not sure if you want to go b/c it's far? What a great learning opportunity and a great way to get to know your fellow RX8's better!!

Well everyone could do it by them selves or pay someone to do it I would drive to Dallas if I had a good oportunity. Its not that far, I think others driving alot farther
I just woke up (in a ball of back pain), and it doesnt look i can make it. I have to be back in dallas by 4pm, so if I left now... i would only have about an hour at the party.
Im kind of TO'd at myself right now... because i REALLY wanted to pick up Dazys reverse lights.

Big thanks to Chris and Amber for allowing us to come over and turn their house and garage into a big smelly mess.
The food was great and daisy made a delicious 4th of july cake.
->Here<- are the pics I took from the event. Thanks to everyone who helped with my screen install!

Ahhhh, Clean at last!
Big thanks guys. I know my left rear was a royal pain (seeing as we're working on it in half of chris's pictures!)
I'll have to give it a good test drive tomorrow (couldn't judge fairly tonight with all the extra weight from tools and whatnot), but it already felt more responsive, not to mention it sounded great too.
As for captions:
1: Now if we can figure out how to make it slide into the hole...
2: Maybe if we jack it some more...
10: I don't remember the other side being this difficult...
11: Keep poundin it! Maybe we need more lube?
12: Ahhh, victory. Now we just have to wait for them to settle in...
13: Getting ready to replace the cat
18: See that car in the garage and everyone on the left? Yeah, that was the ***** shock still.
Thanks for the pics man.

ok, brad got the exhaust right? What is his forum name?
Also, Kalidor's8 you were the guy with the black hair and the white shirt? You helped with my screen install right?
Just want to make sure I get the captions right.
[edit] nevermind, it's Straight8, I just looked back a few pages.[/edit]

You didn't miss much Harry. After arguing and bickering and fighting and threatening to eat their babies (ala Ajax), Service King wouldn't let me have my car.
*Hopefully* I'll have it back this week, but I'm almost afraid to make that prediction...
It was great to see everyone again! I'm glad everyone enjoyed the cake.
Thanks again Shari & Ang for making the drive out yesterday!!! Glad to hear you made it back safely.

Wish tomorrow was Saturday again, cause I noticed a sound that doesn't sound right coming from my right front. Gonna have to look at that when I get home. Hopefully it's only a bolt that needs to be torqued. Who knows, perhaps the ride home loosened some things up as it settled.
That brings up another question... when I put it up to check all the bolts, do i need to jack the rotor up to simulate pressure, or can it be hanging?

I would jack it up, if you go that route. Kalidor's8 and dazy should be getting back together soon if you want to come over. Heck, I am free tonight if you want to come back over and we can check it out. Just let me know. I would try driving it up on the ramps and do another torque down. Pressure will be applied and you can get under it.
