squeeee!!!! im excited

oh yes -- one possible addition, I have my Hawk Ceramic brake pads sitting for me back home waiting to be installed, i was reading a few of the DIY's on this topic and am slightly confused, as to all the metal shims that people are talking about? I'd love to have my new pads on this weekend but don't feel confident from what i've seen that I'd be able to do it, anyone happen to have some good pictures or tips on the matter?

Well, as for me, I guess that depends on what time I pick Harry up, cause it'll take at least another hour for me to get over to your place. So, I guess I'll shoot Harry a PM.

So this is in like, 2 weeks from yesterday?
Hrmm, that still gives me time to buy stuff other than puddle lamps :b

And no, I will not buy clear corners.

Hmmm, what else could I get....... I really need to finish my ash tray mod and my trunk one of these days...

so in preperation for the install party, I know I will need to go rent a spring compressor for someplace... is there ANYTHING else that I will need? I dont know how many of you there have already done your suspension, so any tips will be reccommended. I just wanna make sure when I show up with my springs, shocks, and bars and of course the spring compressor, I can rock and roll and not find out later i needed to have some little tiny part or tool I didnt know I needed.

Like someone said earlier I eager to do as much as I can on my own, but I will seriously need someone to kinda guide me step by step on pretty much everything after "taking the tires off" hah

awesome - what kinda time frame would it take to finish all 4 wheels/shocks? I dont wanna hog up too much of your time/tools b/c I know there will be others waiting. Whats the general procedure too, to do it one wheel at a time? or put the whole thing up at once and take all wheels off at once? sorry with the questions, i might have a lot more once we actually start :-D but learning is fun!

BTW, I will be bringing my ramps, stands and jacks. Gonna hit up the local autozone for a torque wrench and see about a spring compressor.
