Something I thought of... perhaps there's a difference between the base shocks and the sport shocks. Everything fit just fine on mine.

i think that is between you and nick (deadphoenix). Its better to bring it by then, but at worst case we can go to autozone <10 minutes away.

I do, it's easy. Suck the dirty fluid out of the master cylinder with a turkey baster. Fill with clean fluid. Start from the furthest caliper away from the the MC. Have someone pump up the brakes, then crack open the bleeder screw on the caliper. It should shoot out fluid and air (through a tube). Repeat 3-4 times until clear fluid runs through. Check to make sure the fluid level is at the appropriate level so you don't suck air back into the system. Repeat for each wheel and top off the fluid.

Let me know if you need help. I'll be washing the Lotus tomorrow but I might be able to help when the g/f is out shopping.

Valvoline Synpower is pretty popular and has almost as good dry boiling point as some of the pricier specialty fluids if you can't find ATE/Motul etc. You can get a large one at Autozone for 7-8 bucks vs 40. I've never had it boil on me even at Mineral wells running 1.5 mile autocrosses during the 120 degree summer.

sweet. guys, there are two gates--one in front and one in back of the neighborhood. if you guys get to the back one without a gate house, call me and ill open it. if you get to the front from frankford, then tell them you are going to my house. pronounce my last name like this: alex mijicovskee. lol.
