Those who are going to the OK BBQ, does anyone want to caravan? We'll be leaving Fort Worth on Friday, around 2pm or so. If we leave at 2pm, we'll be in north Plano around 3pm. We met there last year and it took us about 4 hours to get to Tulsa.

Gotta ask... why so early on Friday? Any weekend other than Memorial weekend and I coulda played off the sick day, but looks pretty fishy when used in conjunction with a holiday weekend.

 

From north Dallas, it's a 4 hour drive. I'd like to get in with time to relax a little bit and hang out with the rotorheads who are getting together Friday night. I'm also part organizer so I want to get there in plenty of time to help out if needed.

We left early Saturday morning last year and got there just in time to wash the car so this year we definitely wanted to leave on Friday. You wouldn't have to call in sick, just leave a little early. The goal is 3pm. We could wait until 3:05 if we needed to.

 

Is anyone leaving Saturday Morning?

 

Possibly. I know I'm not going Friday night. I have a "guest" coming in Friday night, and we plan on going out for a while. I'll have a better idea what I'm doing on Friday though.

 

We're going to drive in for the BBQ in the morning, and leave before the evening activities (unfortunately)
We're pretty much triple booked for Sat and Sun.
