Do we have to enjoy a meal or can i just come to check out the cars?

 

We're usually in the parking lot after eating and or drinking and or whatever.
You don't have to eat or anything and you can always come late, but there's no guarantee anyone will still be there or that we'll be outside yet.

 

What Ajax said... you can come hang if you like, or show up fashionably late, but there is no set end time, so if you show up too late, we could be gone.

Well this sucks, I'm sitting in my office literally 10 minutes away from this BJ's place(spring valley/inwood), looking at my Nordic Green '04 RX8 GT in the parking lot, wishing I could just get the FFFF out of here and go get a few beers .


I may go look for BJs in about 45 minutes though if there's still people up there.

BTW, if anyone else reads this, I live about 5 minutes west of dowtown ft worth(I-30/University). There is a silver RX8 that I see almost daily parked in front of a warehouse looking building on white settlement and henderson, curious if the owner is on here.

We should have a more local meet sometime maybe downtown ft worth? on a saturday night vs Thursday night BJs conflict.

 

RPM, sorry you couldn't make it. We were there till around 10:15. The Fort Worth crew use to have meets too, but they seem to have fallen off. You could always try and get something going though *shrug*.

 

everythings going real well out here. Im brown than before (tannage), and the cars running fine. Hopefully i'll be back to visit this winter or at the latest... next spring

 

Actually I did swing by and saw three beauty's lined up next to each other away from every other car in the parking lot. I would have come in but that place was packed as hell at 9pm. Thought to myself....how in the hell am I gonna do this? Walk in and say "Hi there, own an RX8?" to every person in there lol.

After I finally got home(small bar at university and whitesettlement) my girlfriend said I should have parked next to the green one, since mine is also green, left my lights on, go inside and tell whoever to put it over the PA system that the owner of a green RX8 left their lights on, and then just go outside and wait lol. Smart girl, dumb Me.

However the next meet I'll definetely come by and get some more details on which table I should head to!

 

go inside and ask for the rx8 table. 9/10 times that will work.

 

Guys, I suck, I had a crazy day and completely forgot about the meeting until today! I'm so sorry I missed it, next time I'll be there, I'm sorry! My car was in the shop anyway, I would not have been myself.

Several of us tend to park in that back area just because it's away from everyone else. And deadpheonix is right, you can normally ask for the RX-8 club at the front and they can point you in the right direction.
