Where are you alnielsen? It isn't just the cold - it's the freezing cold temps one morning and then temps in the 50's the next. Going from extreme to extreme is the problem.

Exactly Tiff, it happened that day that it froze during work, .5 inch of ice on the windshield in about 3 hours. There was a small nick in the glass about 1/16"-1/8" from the edge of the windshield where it started. The shift from warm to cold just made it actually crack instead of there just being a small nick. The dealer was actually going to cover it, until they saw the nick. My point is that the temp shift made it happen whereas I could have driven (and already had) a long time with the nick.

Ah. I'm actually in the burbs right now!! Once it gets cold here, it's cold. Totally different in TX.

Hell yea! It's freezing out here! Snow everywhere, ice under the snow, you can see your breath INSIDE, I packed everything "warm" I own and I think I'm going to freeze to death.

i spent last winter in Chicago...i loved it...i'm a cold freak, i prefer it cold to warm...still not sure why i live in tx. :P
