Bad day for Titanium Greys yesterday
So is anyone from this forum amoung the other 2 titanium Grey Rx8's I saw along with mine on a tow-truck at Premier Mazda yesterday morning?
Little back story, I had a CEL, called the dealership they told me to bring it on in Tuesday morning, so I leave my car in my garage for a couple days until its time to bring it on in... I go to start the car up yesterday and it was completely dead, no lights no nothing, like the battery had died, but none of the lights were on and none of the doors were open or anything. Long story short, called roadside and got a tow, the tow truck driver mentioned this is the 2nd Titanium Grey he has picked up today, and when we got to the dealership there were 2 more on flatbed tow trucks.
I couldnt find any of the other owners there while I waited... So I figured I would post here.

Wasn't me. My TiGray is healthy and happy. But we were in to Jeff Haas in Houston on Friday (under our own power), for 54000 mile service.

^^^Hello, Lufa. I see from your signature that we drive identical cars and got them within a week of each other. Mine is from World Car, San Antonio, (Danny Davila).

I'm glad to say that it wasn't me. But I did have the same situation (minus the cel). It turned out the battery was about to die. It wouldn't even recharge. Two years on the original battery is not too bad. Cost...free...warranty.

Whew... yeah the CEL was for a bad non-charging battery, thus the dead startup on Tuesday. All recalls are done now, and my baby is purring like when she was new again.
They did scratch the leather on my steering wheel... and neglected to fix my sun visor... but anything is better than driving that dodge neon for another day.

It wasn't mine, although mine's headed back in that direction very soon. I've had an intermittant CEL for loss of config that has finally gone full time. On warm days everything would be fine and cool days would have it on until the ambient temperature "fixed" it. I'm also due my 20k service so I'll have both done concurrently.
