I have a friend in Austin who Autocrosses with SCCA in San Antone. Talking to some people at our Fall BBQ, i heard they use a really nice parking lot in San Antonio for Autocrossing. Its for some office complex. Keep looking online, im sure youll find it soon enough.

Did you check the SCCA site yet?

yeah, the region San Antonio belongs to doesn't seem to have their own site. I've only really researched it lightly. I just purchased a new construction home (pretty much dirt and rock right now) in San Antonio and wanted to make sure there was at least *some* autoXing done there (or else I'd really need to re-think this move )

There was an autocross yesterday, is that enough evidence?

Thanks for all the replies!!! I'm glad there will be somewhere for me to run (albeit in around 8-10 months when the property is done)

Redcivic, not sure if you were suggesting I meet up with you on the 18th... Problem is I leave on the 7th and I am already running on the 18th at Homestead Miami Speedway's parking lot

Thanks any way

I live in Miami. Purchased a home in San Antonio though (I was just there picking out the colors and stuff). It will be 8-10 months before it's done. Not 100% sure if I am going to move there, or end up renting it.

We autocross in Corpus Christi nearly every month. South Texas Border Region (STBR)SCCA events. Next one is July 15-16th, at aviator field near Robbstown (Near Corpus Christi). Check out the web site at http://www.stbrscca.com/ It's about 2.5 hour drive from San Antonio.

You won't find me at autox.

There's a guy w/a Tigrey that has a full mazdaspeed kit/parts named James (RX-Hawk on here) that goes to the autox. Hes a nice guy, you should look for him next time out.

Probably because none of the mazdaspeed goodies give any power. Its all mostly suspension.

HAHAHA.

Post of the year . (I should say this is an inside joke here)

What car do you drive (I assume a red civic) ?

Are you guy who had the car so powerful that you had to go past the starting line and back up after your burnout?
