Is there anyone with an Accessport in Austin willing to assist me with reading the CEL on my RX8? My car will not crank at all when turning the ignition and is giving CEL...I don't know what to do and Mazda South is closed.

 

Cancel this, I got a reader from advance auto...and all I'm getting is error in connection, so I'm sure that ECU must be doing this.

 

it mustve gotten cooked with al the elevated heat levels over there man.. if i was in town id help you out.. ill be back next month

 

did you try and reset the ECU?

 

I ended up just getting a new engine from mazda, it's on order now.

 

Haha, wow from CEL to new engine. I'm currently waiting on my third engine as well.

 

What kind of warranty on replaced engines??

 

just the remainder of your factory warranty and/or extended warranty...
