hey all, haven't been here in a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time, lot going on with me, lost an engine, destroyed a rental car (hail storm), and lost my job in about a week back in March, been job hunting ever since, couple of interviews, still no job though. (ugh)

car is now sponsored by Vibe, Metra,Tsunami, and Varad led lighting, and picking up others as they come it seems. We're building it for SEMA in Vegas for the Metra/Vibe booth, so far I've bagged it (yes, it has arbags, still need some tweaking but it almost lays flat, I tuck rim on the front for the most part...let the flaming insue lol), we're tossing the backseat for an elaborate amp rack setup, I'll hopefully be shaving door handles soon, and having some custom paintwork done to the exterior by Cindy "Crash" Raschke, all in all the car's going to bonkers when I'm done, and I can't wait to meet Chip Foose in November.

here are some teaser pics, we're making progress slowly but surely

Lol!! There aint nothing shabby about doing a midpipe conversion. When I took mine off, it took me like 2 hours just to get it off, it was a lot more work than I expected!!! I hated that part, it was damn happy right where it was at!!

instead of the turboXS exhaust take a look at the HKS Legamax, it has a slightly deeper tone

Racing Beat dude. 3" all the way with 4" tips. Sounds just like stock, but better. Took car for its first real drive today! Car ran great!! Cant wait to start working on the tune. Gonna pull some logs tomorrow then see what comes out of it. BOV sounds awesome. Hard to not just lay into the throttle!! Pulls really good to 4krpm. You can hear turbo start to spool at about 3500.

never messed with nitrous, i dont like the idea of refilling tanks and using up my trunk

pm charles from BHR he is extreamly experience in messing with it and sells most of everything u will need at very good price.

he has helped me alot.

with a auto you could contact easy or what ever his screen name, he has blown a few manifolds from low rpm nitrous engagement i think.

need to find some one to reweld / braze my manifold, pos

Call PTP. I had them weld my BOV flange and they did an excellent job. A touch pricey but you get what you pay for. Im sure they can do it cause they make custom turbo kits. I really would give them a try.

And maybe try "Automotive Specialists" in Round Rock, and ask to speak with John (Long) the owner and Mazda guru. He knows the RX8 very, very, very well.

He'll be able to help, might be a little less expensive, and will do a perfect job.
