Ya, I was thinking about putting everything on hold till after the wedding when we get some money but its only 2 months away so ya, I maybe thin with money for a little bit but Ill make it. I wanna get this done because I already have the time off work and its pretty hard to be able to get a week off now a days. We have to take 40 hours paid time off AND 40 hours no pay. So with 6 of us on the schedule and everybody just wanting one day at a time, to get a stretch of days off is hard to come by!

interview seemd to go well, now the dreaded waiting period and hopefully a call back to go for the 2nd one.

car is sounding like it's going to be mean Adam, **** man, take your time and do it right, if you're not piling on the miles there's probably no need to rush anything.

10-4 man! Im going to have to hold off on a couple things. I was hoping to be able to get the BHR ignition and Fluid 650cc injectors, but Im running out of money so Im just going to have to run low boost for a little while. Im still waiting to get my turbo back from BNR, my ATP couplers, AEM intake, manual boost controller, and a stock air box to cut up for the "stealth" look.

Not sure yet, the usual suspects (the shop peoples) are going to be in San Antonio this weekend but I'm not going, may wind up laying kinda' low since I have the lack of fundage thing about to kick in.

man i have a job and stayin above the water of insane debt still threatens me...i wish my job was better paying.

i think i may hit up the 1431 site again but im not positive, im trying to save up all my dimes and nickels to pay for my ticket along with credit card, and still have enough money for gas for the next three weeks. the ticket alone is gonna cost me $295...does anybody know about how much insurance will rise for a speeding ticket???

along with all that ive been driving alot slower...so when i got pulled over for speeding again i was told i was doing 60 in a 55, in reality my speedo read 58, so when i hit 148-149 a while back at the track i assume i did about 150-151

then again i need to save even more money for new brake pads and windshield wiper, not to mention all the other stuff in life....

ALL THIS WITH A JOB, I CANT IMAGINE TO BE WITHOUT...i may have to inherit another job somewhere...

Why do you have to pay your ticket? Even if you've taken DD within the last year you can still do deferred adjudication, which means you take it again and then you have an agreement with the court that you don't get another ticket for 6 months or something like that in addition to taking it again. I did that last time, I just had to go talk to a prosecutor and I was all good to go, I wound up paying some court cost or something, and it all wound up cheaper than the ticket and nothing is on my record.

YES YES YES

Canary is right... don't pay that damn ticket. That's the last thing you want to do.
Deferred adjudication is the way to go. Just don't f'k up after you take it and get a ticket during the probation period. I managed to get through it no problem.

Lucky!!! I was going to go see the one at Capitol today that Phantom was talking about.

Need to mow the lawn and wash the GTO. And I need to fix an interior panel. Hey Canary, you're an expert on all this. What would you use to glue a piece of suede material back to the plastic door panel? What type of adhesive product specifically?

If you look at the door, it's the formed suede material that's coming off. It looks like a part of the door, but it's not.

Most of the time you can get by with the 3m spray adhesive, they have a few different ones and one of which is intended for upholstery/interiors as I think they have different heat ratings or something like that, if you have a compressor/gun then you could do some DAP contact cement, that stuff is gnarly though, probably overkill if it's just a simple fix etc. Home Depot or most automotive stores should have the 3m, it's pretty commonly used.

Sweet, thanks man... a buddy of mine mentioned the contact cement, but he said you mess it up, and that's it. No going back. I'll get the 3m stuff.

Oh, and if anybody wants to know... I called Capitol Chevy, and the guy who pre-ordered the Camaro came and picked it up. The next one is expected to come in next Saturday, and that apparently will be a showroom car they'll keep there.

Damn it!! I was just getting ready to walk out the door to head down there but decided to check and see what was going on on here first. Thanks for the heads up. Just wondering why they advertise the car online if it was a pre-order?? Just to prove they got one?? Lol!!!
