Arkansas?

Anyone on the forums in/around conway arkansas. I am about 40 minutes north, from Texas, just here for work (oil&gas). Been here since feb, and driving back and forth from texas Ive seen several 8s. Looking for some people to cruise around the hills, talk rotary, install mods. I'm down for anything. For you Texas people I'm moving back there (college station) in December, lets hook up,
Will

Quad State BBQ is in October in Arlington. You should try to make it. It's FREE!

Sweet, I knew there had to be some 8 owners around. I actually just saw 1 here in clinton yesterday. I'm supposed to get my car out of the body shop late next week then I'm going back to Texas that weekend. Then my car goes back in the shop lol I miss my ride. Sometime after these next 2 weeks I'll have it back good to go. We should hook up and cruise around sometime. There are a bunch of fun roads around here... I'll have to look up where that is on the map I'm sure I've been close by before. Catch you later,

Will

Overdrive,
My stylist (hairdresser for you guys that don't know what that means...lol), has a shop in conway. If you see a 2004 bright yellow 8 that would be her. She has the only yellow 8 in conway, and her shop is across the street from Hendrix College.
Everytime I make a visit, her husband and everyone in her shop get on the discussion of RX8's and how often the starters have failed, and you have to drive it often and fast!!! Use only premium gas, etc. as if they are a pain to upkeep???? I haven't had any problems with my 8.

By the way, are mustang gt owners envious of the 8? I ask because everytime when I meet up with a mustang, they gas their motors and want me to chase them. Maybe it's just my imagination.

And wooohooo! I've ordered my personalized license plate!!!

Well, first of all you don't HAVE to use premium. I do just because I like to keep good care of my car. And I have not had any tech. problems with my 8 that didn't fix itself with an ecu reset and I've had it since Jan. (It now has 76K+ Miles on it, ). So I'm not sure what your friends are talking about, **** happens I guess I am lucky. And as for your friend, I'll be drivign through there on thursday I'll be on the lookout. I'm goigback home to Texas!!!

-edit- Oh, and as for the mustangs... I know the new GT probably has more torque than the 8, not sure about the base model. He probably "thinks" he can beat you in a 1/4 mi. But don't let this get you down, with a few mods you can show him you 3rd brake light mod.

if I was still up there, we'd all have to get together at the outback in conway for some drinks or something.... I can't say that I miss Clinton, AR though. That place was like moving into a backwoods retirement facility.

The only other 8 I ever saw up there was a Silver RX8 parked outside of wendy's one night in Conway.

Having an RX8 in clinton AR was funny, everyone knew who I was and what we were up there doing (buying oil and gas leases). It was an interesting feeling having the only RX8 in that whole town. There were a few other rich ppl but they were older and had Hummers & Vettes and other "common" pimp cars.

If you are in the courhouse and see anything filed on behalf of the Caffey Group between September and March, odds are I wrote it.

I have seen the Caffey Group before, very funny. I know what you are saying about clinton, it is pretty backwoods. I think it's just because I've been here so long but I've seen 3 8s here in clinton, 2 in conway, and 5+ in/around little rock. They are all just hiding in the hills playing their banjo. . . LOL

Hi, Will. I'm from New Orleans, but I'm in Arkansas all the time. Know anybody selling their stock 18 inch wheels? I have a Mazda6 and want to put those wheels on it. Thanks!
