I may not have my 8 on thursday.
Something is still whacky with the transmission. I have a feeling that when they had the wrong gear oil in there, I damaged my 4th gear synchro (1 of the 2). If I try to shift into 4th at high RPM (say 6000+) I often get a grind before going into gear.
So I have an appointment first thing in the AM on thursday to get it looked at and I'm willing to bet that gear oil caused this issue because it started when they had the wrong oil in there.
Not a good thing..
I'll still be at the meet either way.

Actually, I've decided to stay in town (at least until my sister yells at me). I've got so much to do this weekend, it's not even funny. I'm also going to the gym after work since I'm feeling better, but I'll be all sweaty... if you guys really want to meet up, I'll head out that way afterwards, but it'll be about 8pm instead of 7:30.
Hrmm.. Well I get my car back today.
They said it's actually not the synchros but one of the collars that is causing the problems. They're replacing that as well as the shift forks next week. They said I should just be careful with 4th until then.
You guys are so last minute :b
I'll let you know in a few if I'm going. I was trying to make plans but maybe now I don't need to.
