In their defense, they've always done right by me. If they'd had the correct oil and not had to order it, I would have had same-day service.
And, if I'd brought it in at my appt time, and not 6hours later....


Don't get me started on Eldorado in McKinney, though.

Jon called me, and apparently, his shifts better now than it did when new. I'm picking mine up in an hour or two.

 

It's an amazing difference. I don't know what oil they put in there, but WOW!
I was starting to think my clutch was slipping because I couldn't get the wheels to break loose anymore but no, it was all just the resistance in the tranny not allowing me to shift fast enough. After michael dropped it off, I took it out for a quick spin.

Out of the parking lot, onto a slick road, get sideways, run to 9500 RPM, go straight to second like glass, wheels break loose like they should, run that up to 9500, slow down to make a right, back to 9500, shift to third, wheels break loose again.. Just like it was when I first got it, only easier.

 

hmmm...that could be my problem as well. I wonder what they dumped in there.

At least i'm getting lots of research done for my car PC, and I ordered my new Tranny oil and Diff Oil.

Hope you guys had fun...i just finished working, and i think i'm going to just tinker with my car. Need to try to fix the amp to work the way i want. Last night was fun and we had a pretty big turnout!! Fenderlover (Shawn/Sean), Scott and Dave (I forgot the screen names), Fasto made it out along with Coop & Crew, Ajax, Irish8 & Weininaustin, Racer & Crew, 8 is enough, Bluesunlion & Crew and myself ~ so 15 or so people!! It was good to see everyone and I hope everyone made it home safely. See you in two weeks!!

Great meet except for Mr. DOT on the Tollway by the construction where I was paced at 93.....

 

Ouch.
I couldn't get up to any speed on the tollway cuz of the construction..

 

One great reason i'm glad i stayed home after finishing up my work for the night...contruction was everywhere...tollway, 190, and 35. My drive would have sucked.

 

i went on the tollway l8r that night and got some nice open roads lol
