any 8s going to any car shows? anything?

 

I was trying to get some folks together to hit up 1431/Parmer show Saturday, and then Thursday happened so it's kinda' up in the air. I'd be more than willing to follow through with the original plan of meeting at Schlotzsky's at 183/Balcones at 5pm, then headin out there around 5:30ish etc. I'll just park the rentabeast away from everything lol

 

Sorry, Wife coming home Saturday from 2 weeks in San Diego. I'll be "busy". :-)

there doesn't seem to be a lot of folks interested from what I can tell so I'm going to pass, I might still show up out at 1431 later but probably not as it will just make me pissed off about my car lol There is a our monthly meeting this Wednesday at Rudy's BBQ 183@Duval (well,close to Duval) at 7pm, I will be attending that for sure.

it's all good, I'll definitely be more up for doing stuff once I get my car back, apparently now it's having mechanical problems as well, the shop called me this morning and said it wouldn't start, asked me if there was any trick to it etc. My car was fine until I got hit, no problems, no flooding, no nothing, now it's not starting, all busted up, and none of it is my fault...argh..end of rant

 

Has the insurance all been sorted out? Did that guy fess up to everything?

 

it looks like they're still sorting that out, I had his agent calling me the other day saying she needed to "inspect the damage to my car" rofl, so I guess I was supposed to just sit around in a busted *** vehicle until someone checked it out almost a week later? yeeeaaah right
