Anyone see the Thunderbirds at Wings Over Houston?

I was at the airshow Saturday (it was awesome!) and saw a silver RX-8 leaving. Just wondering if it was anyone here. There was also a fly over by a B2 Stealth Bomber. Pretty damn cool looking. I'll probably have to give seeing it the nod over the RX-8. Sorry man.

I had my Blue8 there on Saturday. Great show. I had watched the T-birds do a loose show after arriving on Thursday and was at Ellington also on Friday for their eye watering tight show after one jet had to ground abort (they flew without the slot).

There's an RX-8 twist that happened to me Saturday. Turning onto Hwy3 at PeTe's, a red8 goes by me. I pull in behind and notice that it has 'DEALER' plates. I look at the driver and see that it is the MoCL General Mgr who sold me the first ever RX-8 that arrived to the area a year ago last July. I get no acknowlegement of my presence...

I can only wonder what thoughts he was having about the decisions he made during that sale that led me to complete disappointment with Mazda of Clear Lake and my subsequent return of that otherwise excellent car. Had MoCL upheld their commitments in that deal, he and I might have had a great Saturday afternoon with our 8s pulled to the roadside by Ellington talking about planes and cars, him with his Red8 and me with my original Blue8.

If I'm ever in the position of running a business, I want to be able to look all of my customers in the eye with a sense of satisfaction in knowing that there was mutual benefit from the transaction. I don't want to live my life in the stealth mode having to hide from all the people who feel that they've been scorched by my afterburners.
