There's a car show over here in Alexandria this weekend. I'm bringing my 8 and if any of you want to come, you're welcome

I've had my 8 for 2 months and have not had this problem. It seems that flooding is caused by cold start/stops. If you're careful about making sure that you warm the engine before you cut it off then you shouldn't have any problems. There are lots of other threads on this subject if you want to do more "research" though.

I'm in Ruston, go to Tech, woohoo, but I visit my parents in Alexandria basically every weekend. I have a red 8 and my boyfriend has a first gen. We also got a friend in town with a first gen.

I live in Metairie (New Orleans basically). Just got a Nordic Green RX-8, Touring Package, Splash Guards, and just recently installed the MP3 unit and put in all weather mats.
