Hi all - I'm a potential RX8 owner and looking at a Black w/ Black and Red Leather interior 04 GT RX8 that was on the Charles Maund Jaguar lot and now is on the Maund VW lot in Austin, TX. It has a cold air intake and maybe lowered - just wondering iof anyone knows who owned this car and if there are any other mods - the thorttle response is pretty touchy - I'm wondering about an ECU mod.

don't know it, but I hate maund with a passion. a while back I actually tried trading in my 8 (this was while I was still married to maniacal practice wife who stole my paycheck each month etc) for a scion tc and they played the "hide the keys" game with me. They tok my car and appraised it, then parked it where I couldn't see it and kept my keys from me while trying to work a "deal" on the tc...ugh...fockers. If you do buy it from them, make sure you rape them on it, and you can also have it looked at by the guy who does all the work for our club members (www.jcautospec.com) or any of the beasley centers. maybe you can carfax it too!
