TX Anyone experienced in houston, SA, or austin with shocks/springs change?

I'm not trying to get out of paying and get you guys to work on my car for free, so I'm still up for paying a bit for your help and use of your tools...I just want to participate in changing the shocks and springs so I can be more hands on with my car and learn myself...I installed my AEM CAI but the instructions were so noob friendly it wasn't that bad. I'd love if anyone in the area could help me out :D pm me or text 832-231-ohtwo01.

thanks =)

if it matters shocks are tokico dspecs and tein s tech springs.

good luck! i'm sure someone will chime in and help. if not, the guys in the sa crew are super nice and would probably help if you drove there. i did mine, with the help of my brother-in-law who is very good at that stuff, so i definitely understand where you're coming from. i'm not experienced enough to be able to do it with you, otherwise i would offer.

Canary is closer and the shop he speaks of is a good place to go (remember the coilover install Canary?). But if you come to SA we can probably knock it out. I have a guy coming from Del Rio this weekend that I am going to help install coilovers on his 8.

If my schedule opens up I will be down to help. I did 2 RX8 spring/shock setups on my car and switched to my coilovers now. In my opinion putting the springs on the shocks take the most time

I will let you know sometime this week

Hey, I also have springs/shocks I would like to install but do not have any idea how/what to do.
I can meet/drive with you to Houston, Dallas, SA, or Austin
I already have the springs and shocks but in no rush to install them
I might have to roll the fenders since I have big 19 wheels/tires.
Also I might not be much help in installing but would like to learn.
Thanks
Oh do not work so can do anytime.

If you still have the tires on the rear that you had last time, then I will say again that you do not need to lower your car. Those tires are WAY too tall.

Yes, still have those tires

Been working on my bike, does not want to idle properly

Someone tried to do a spring install last year. Do not remember who but they found out the nuts/bolts were on too tight and they did not have the impact wrench to take them off

Found out my bro in law has a roll tool in SA so I might be able to borrow that.
After the bike, I will try to install my rotors/brake pads/paint underside/paint calipers/etc

Sweet, I really like how the front is shaped, looking to change up mine at some point, just not sure which way to go yet. (I love the new Mazda ones too, may look into those when I have the spare cash etc.)

Yeah I really like this one also. The only thing is that mines cracked from daily driving so I might get another same one haha.
