I am tired of working on these cars lately. Is there any shops locally that will do a turbo install?

Btw: is there any other kits out other than the Greddy kit?

ptp is in austin, and if your willing to drive to them, i'm sure theyll do the install.
Rotary Performance as well as Gotham Racing are both local and can install kits for you, if they have the time.

Ummm not to seem dumb...but who is ptp and do they have a website. I am very willing to travel to have work done.

Are you talking about Rotary Performance out in Garland? I talked with them a week or so ago and got that from them. They prefer working on the RX7s and will work on the RX8 when they are slow.....

Last time i went past Gotham they has a freaking shop full of dayum cars! So not sure when they would be able to get to mine!

What kinda kits are Rotary Performance and Gotham Racing offering locally?

 

They dont have any shop type ones. But they will install Greddy Kits and the such.

 

Imma find out on the 25th how avalible the PTP kit is. LoL cash should perseude them a little i hope.

Sure will! Since it is next weekend I will already have my camera and camcorder with me since I am going to the Solstice meet, so I will take as many pics as I can and see what all info I can get on price and install and what not.

 

Check out Rotary Performance. i know they sell the greddy trubo, and Chris does great work. he works mostly on the RX 7, but i know he owns an 8 and will work on it. he is the guy i talk to about my 8 and is a real great guy. check them out at www.rx7.com

 

If you are going with RP or Gotham and the Greddy Kit, i would also recommend getting the interceptor put in and having them tune it before your car leaves the shop.

Still have plans to take to PTP next weekend, but unknown at weither i am going to use him or not as of yet.

IF I go with the Greddy or any other kit what else should i get .
Fuel System? Obviously gauges. Interceptor? Taking it that is like EMS?
