On Friday Jan 30th, Brillo and I are flying to Cincinatti. I'm buying a 1990 RX-7 and driving all the way back to Houston. Our goal for that night is to make Nashville in time to hit up some brewpubs and hopefully meet up with some forum members there. Our goal for Saturday is to hit New Orleans and stay the night there. I've never been there and want to see downtown. Anyone from around there want to meet up with us on Saturday the 31st?

 

I'd love to see the 7 you are buying. I'll calendar the date and let's plan on it.

I won't know what time we are going to get there until we get there. We just know that we'll be in some time that evening but with plenty of time to go out. It's just going to be one of those things where people agree to meet at a certain place at a certain time and we show up when we show up. Of course we can always get some phone number info exchanged so we can keep everyone informed. Not doing this was a mistake I made back on August when I drove through Oklahoma City. I was supposed to meet up with some people but ran late and no one had anyone else's contact info. I still went out but met up with no one. I don't want that to happen on this trip. It's fun to meet other enthusiasts.

 

I have a birthday party to go to, but I don't know what time it starts, so I might be running late.

 

2 days to go. I've got contact info from 2 people. Anyone else want to go? I'll be giving these people a call when we get in. Of course they can always call me on Saturady too to see where I'm at.

 

Rotarygod just called. They are in Tuscaloosa so they probably won't get here until 11:30 or so, so we decided we'll meet up tomorrow around 12 noon at Crescent City Brewhouse.
