"Lone Star Chapter BMW - (AX)
Lone Star Chapter BMW announces LSC BMWCCA AX #2 - April 24th, 2010
More information can be found on the LSC BMWCCA website http://www.lscbmwcca.org/autocross-schedule.html, and if you want to drive in the event you must register. Cost is $25 for BMWCCA members, but non-members can register for $35 which allows you to try it out one time."
BTW, how long are you going to be in the DFW area?

Relocating here for my job, so as long as I'm employed. Moved away four years ago for the same reason. It's good to be back. Now if I can just find that 2 BR house with a 6 car garage .....

Road trip? LOL
in the last three weeks I ...
Towed a trailer load of stuff from Reno to Dallas
Towed the empty trailer back to Reno
Loaded the car in the trailer and towed it from Reno to San Diego for a race two weekends ago
towed back up to Los Angeles, dropped the car/trailer, then drove on to Reno.
Drove from Reno back to LA and raced there this past weekend
and am now just finishing up towing the car/trailer from LA to Dallas
that's probably at least 7500 miles total and the weekend after next I have to tow up to Lincoln, NE and back for a race. So towing out to Mineral Wells this weekend is all the road trip I need.

Out running with the BMW club today at the TMS bus lot.
How come you guys are meeting at a BBQ place? I would instead recommend Hanasho on Beltline in Irving. Probably the only real Japanese food establishment in the DFW metroplex. Coming from the west coast I figured my days of eating the likes of sanma, ika sugata, geso karage, sukiyaki, etc. were over, but I luckily stumbled upon Hanasho the first time out. They have a $1 sushi happy hour for the lightweights who can't handle the real thing
