Anyone on here from Amarillo? If so, do you put snow tires on your 8 in the winter. Any comments or experiences? Or OK panhandle or anywhere near Amarillo?

 

I'm from Amarillo , I don't drive my car in the snow, have a beater to drive! What color you got? Only seen a few around here!

Was it fun driving down through the canyon? It looks like it was a beautiful day to do it.

 

Ours is VR like yours. We bought it from Gene Messer, the one thats been there for a while. We felt like we got a good deal on it. I saw a blue 8 at Abuelos Friday night, one of the few I've seen. So I guess you won't be driving today, possibility of SNOW.

 

I got mine in Dallas, Messer wanted too much for mine, and I even work across the street from them , Got mine in Oct of 2004. Got it 1500 below invoice when I bought it. Been happy ever since. I had a few sales people tell me when someone wants a red and they don't have it, they drive them over to see mine LOL. Back then, they added $750 for "fair market value" and wouldn't come off..they were pissed when I showed up with mine. My pics there are from Christmas day out a Palo Duro Canyon. it was a gorgeous day! But 3/4 of the canyon was closed so didn't get to buzz around too hard. Keep checking this site, I went to the first Quad State meet in Dallas and had a blast. Lots of great info on our cars on here. All my mods I have bought from vendors on here! I meet a guy the other day with a Shinka at my store, he loved it. Beautiful color, just don't like the interior color personally. And I have a buddy that bought a black for his wife in Nov. I loved that there isn't too many around town!
