Flywheel install locations in the Woodlands/Conroe area
I am going to purchase a lighter flywheel soon. Probably the ACT streetlight from Rotary Performance in Garland.
I am in the Woodlands/Conroe are and would like to know if there are any reliable shops around that will not try to rip me off when I go to get an install.
Also, what else should be replaced while doing this? Is it necessary to replace the clutch, plate and throwout bearing?
Thanks.

cant help you on the shops but i would think it would run $200+ in labor(just guessing 3 hour job @ $70 an hour). dropping a tranny just sucks.
i also dont think you need to replace anything, im assuming you have less than 30k. your clutch and pp should last for quite some time. have you tried a search on this subject?

Thanks for the info. I tried a search and I always seem to get to much info to search through, half of which never seems to have anything to do with swapping a flywheel.

Give Curt a call at Tracktime Performance. They are by Willowbrook mall which isn't too far from there. While you're there you can go play with the track cars!
