Another reason to stay away from IPAC

I don't know who I have told but my brother has a CX-7. Well a month ago he wrecked it, rear ended another car. He took it to IPAC to have it repaired.

Long story short, they replaced the radiator but didn't burp it prior to giving it back to him. On the way home from the dealer he over heated it and took it back. At the time the dealership admitted to not having burping it. They burped it and gave it back. I took it back a few weeks to have some of the Repair work fixed correctly. Well after he got it back the second time, he noticed it started to overheat again. He took it back and this time they told him that the engine would need to be replaced and that they needed the ins's approval. He didn't tell the ins anything about the first incident and apparently neither did the dealership. Monday the ins told the dealership to have a second shop inspect and test the radiator and they refused. Today he got a call from the ins agent stating that they would not cover the engine because he feels that the dealership did not correctly burp the engine after install and that the dealership would be held liable. (mind you no one told the agent about the burping incident) This is when my brother told him about the first time and the agent informed that IPAC will now have to answer to their lawyers because they are denying that they didn't burp the radiator.....

Lesson.... stay away from IPAC.
