I got 3rd place, kind of got screwed on that deal but oh well, it was fun and we had a great spot.

Hey Jenkins, I heard about why you couldn't make it, if you need some help getting that done shoot me a PM, my guy can take care of you, do a bad *** job, lifetime warranty on labor etc., He won't charge through the roof either as the shop is small and just getting on its feet. Just throwing that out there as I'd love to help out a fellow club member/car show person.

Well, I can't hate on another RX-8, especially since mine is velocity red as well.... but your RX-8 looks so much better than that one... I mean **** I haven't really started doing much to my car but at least I have custom wheels!... all that guy did was slap a carbon hood on his ride and its a trophy winner? I mean its a OEM carbon hood too... Your car looks a lot better IMO randall.

yeah I'm not one to hate on another 8 at all, but sonce the owner was kind of a jerk and saying how he wasn't "sponsored" and how he was paying for everything and he's only 17 I'm not too thrilled about this one etc. , I think he assumed that just because I was under a tent that a whole bunch of people threw money at my car and that's not the case, I've paid for ALLLLL of it despite being in a divorce and broke etc. I've somehow managed to get a lot of cool stuff done, it's not been the smartest thing to do since I have a lot of debt but oh well, guess I needed some consolation after my marriage fell apart lol It wouldn't bug me as much if the guy had at least opened up his car or something, EVERY time I walked by it everything was closed, no doors open, no hood open, no trunk open, ****, he doesn't even have clear corners or tire juice on his car and he was 1 place shy of first (ugh). Oh well, our shop fared well and got a lot of attention and I met a lot of cool people so it was a good time

Thanks for the props, we'll make some time to help you get your springs/intake/whatever installed too, hang on to your ca$h, no need to take it to any of those guy$ you been asking lol

Well, the red RX8 also has the MS bodykit, but so does Randall. Unless his interior/ stereo setup was better than Randall's (which I highly doubt).

Well, I have never posted a pic of my car... since I got the wheels I might as well... This car just has Greddy SP2 exhaust and Kyowa KR566 wheels... planning on doing Tein-S or Eibach springs, AEM intake, RP supercat in the near future.... would also like to get a PAINTED rear lip spoiler... or a carbon hood with carbon lip.. but im not too sure about that... anyway wa-la

looks nice, wheels should go well with the carbon, you def need some type of drop to finish it off though are those 18's or 19's?

thanks, I don't think the guy who judged my car knew what he was looking at, it got judged last minute by a different dude than the red one, it was supposed to be the same guy doing everything in the class but that didn't happen. Plus the class was screwed up anyway, I was up against the red one, a silver one(I think) and a bunch of Proteges and an MP5. The class was called "Mazda Sport Car street", how is a protege even considered a sports car is beyond me, plus even if it is they should have given them their own class and our 8's our own class, there were a total of 7 cars, all you need for a class is 3. I just got totally burned, but it's ok, perhpas I can get my judging sheet and find out what I got dinged on and do better next time

18x7.5.... I had just bought new tires when I bought the RX-8 because the ones the previous owner had on them were friggin bald... so I didnt want to spend more money on tires too. They are considerably lighter than my stock rims too...Yes I need to get the car dropped like an inch and a half..... Tein-S are a lot cheaper than Eibach... is there a reason?

no particular reason, Eibachs are the standard and have a name behind them, but the drop with those is more subtle than the s-techs.Don't know why there is a difference, I noticed that too when I was shopping for mine.
