If it's not repairable, I do not want go back stock
Thanks for the help guys. It always helps to have someone who knows Martin to talk to him. I'm just crossing my fingers everything comes out well.

Dropped it off yesterday at Caliber in Plano. Got the rental from Enterprise (Neon) blechh!!!
They were out of bigger cars. After this happening every time I have needed a rental I see now that reservations mean nothing. They tell you that a car is reserved for you and they take like 10 minutes worth of info, blood type, hair color, dna, tax return, credit card over the phone. I walk in and am required to give the same info again, and find out that they are out of big cars.
Are they a government agency?

It looks like it is... I'm still waiting on my estimate and Coop seems to be on his way. Hopefully he'll be back soon. I'm not in too big of a hurry because I have some things to do to it anyway. It will probably be a 2-3 month wait for me.

Sorry to hear about your 8's but as been said glad everyone is OK. Man! is sure miss all of you all. Since I've moved to Louisville I've seen several 8's and found a KY rotary site but I was the last to post to the site ( MAY 3rd !! ) so not much activity. I check out the Gulf forum just to keep up with things. Hope the 8's get fixed properly.. everyone take care.

Picking it up today hopefully...They had issues with redoing the wheel that was scratched. They said they didn't have a socket that was thinwalled enough to get the lug nuts on/off without scratching the wheel they got repainted so they took it to Discount who then proceeded to scratch the wheel. So back to get the wheel re-done added two more days. GGGRRRR but at least today looks good.

Glad to see everything is back to normal for you. Mine will be started on next week. The damages keep adding up. It looks like they are going to repaint the entire car except the top! Oh well, it'll be out sooner or later.

I thought there was a thread somewhere. :o
I'm hoping Martin orders your kit soon. I may get a little something out of that too. He mentioned something about two-toned? Black and red? What do you have up your sleeve? :D

Just one more update... the "official" amount just went from $2100 to $6100. They are still missing some things, but the big amount is in the mail.
