Montgomery Mayhem Scenic Drive!

When:2:00 PM Saturday, July 23 2005
Duration: About 3 hours

Tour some back roads on Houstons piney north side. This will be an afternoon run ending up in Tomball. This event is being run by the local Miata club, contact me for more info!

Yeah, it does suck getting your *** handed to you on the twisties by a car with half your RWHP. :P

 

I guess it would, but fortunately that has never happened to me and I drive an auto .I was just poking fun at your TexasRxs Yahoo comment anyhoo :D

 

Nah, I understand completely... in fact the last scenic drive we had I did quite a number on my club in the Mazda 6 rental car (4 banger/w manumatic) on the twisties. After the drive, the 6 got nearly as much (or more) interest that some of the other cars in the drive.



I must've missed that comment.... please elaborate :D

Launch Time: 2:00 pm
Launch Coordinates: Gas station parking lot across from McDonald's at 105 and hwy. 149 in Montgomery Tx.
Touch Down Area: PO's Burgers on Telge near hwy. 290

Mow the lawn, wash the dog, or just sleep in on saturday, then join us for a blast through the country around Montgomery, Anderson and Navasota for a beautiful saturday afternoon drive.

We will leave at 2:00pm sharp from the parking lot across from McDonald's in Montgomery.

You guys oughtta' reschedule and come down to the HeatWave this weekend, there is going to be tons to see there

 

Might be a bit yucky outside this afternoon, but I'm still planning on being there. Also, 149 is a nice drive up to montgomery, much better than I45 N. :D

its so wierd seeing those pics. thats totally where i live but im stuck in cali for work until 8/19 and my car was totalled so i have to wait till i get back to pick up my new one.
