Hey guys im new here! Is there anyone going out to the meet tonight off coit in plano? it is held in the sams club parking lot. Last time i went, i was pretty much the only 8 out there just trying to see if theres any other 8 owners around that area. If anyone is interested in going, everyone one usually meets up around 9:00pm. It would be great to see other 8 owners out there. i drive a VR rx8 if i dont notice you pulling in

 

As far as I know, there's not any "official" rx8club meets out there, so I don't know who it is that puts on those meets.

The DFW group currently has two regular meets. Every other week at Flips in Grapevine, and every other week (on opposite weeks as the Grapevine meets) in the North Dallas area (I say area because I tend to change up the location from time to time).

We typically set up cruises once every couple months (depending on demand and people's schedules) and they can range from 15 miles to 50+ miles. And then, of course, there's the state meet that we just put on, which includes a 230 mile cruise.

Additionally, we'll have install parties when folks have various parts that they need help installing, and use it as an opportunity to get dirty and learn more about the car.

 

yea i figured, but this is a every week meet just guys around the dfw..not an rx8 meet or anything just something to do during the week

If you have an RX8 id recommend going to a meet or two. Your car is quite different than those other imports you hang out with.

I go to the meet on park and coit every once in a while but normally im working. I may actually swing by there later tonight. I have a SS with black rims.

 

where were you guys last night??? I showed up for a little while to see what this meet was all about and meet you guys, but i never saw you. I was not the only RX8 though, two other VR's were there.

BTW, that will probably be the last time i will ever go to that meet. It was a mix of highschool and rice-a-roni mixed with trash (ok, there were a few cool people there but not enough to go back). You guys should come to one of our local meets. better people, better cars and a lot better atmosphere.

 

yesterday wasnt a very good day i was there for a bit and then left, there was a lot of ricers yesterday wont doubt you on that lol. im looking forward for this cruise this weekend so i can actually meet some of you guys.

 

correction not this weekend, but in a few weeks sorry just getting hyped up cause its almost the weekend

im there every wednesday, normally park with the lex crew, pretty much always roll in with a black TL, 2jz swapped gs300, and a turbo short bus minivan.

 

Ill probably roll by there next week
