Welcome to the club!
The rx8 scene has died down a bit in the recent years...So actual rx8 meets are rare, but I try to post a meet every once in a while.
There are weekly over all Mazda meets every week though...I'm usually the only 8 there, but it's a fun group, and you're more than welcome to join in on those as well.
Just keep up with the updates on the first page each week

We do, sort of.
There is/was a planned Wednesday night DFW meet (details on the 1st page). However, as previously mentioned, it has died out in a sense; not many people showing up, and I'm guilty of such. It’s understandable that meets like this can be difficult to plan, as most have prior obligations with work, family, life etc.
Regardless, I still enjoy the idea of our original meet, but I think it’s safe to say that a change of times/day/location is definitely open for discussion here.

Sheena - seeing how there is a spark of interest as of late, I propose we set on meeting today/night at our original meeting location. I would urge that we change the time to 6:00-6:30.
All - I need feedback and input from everyone throughout the day, but Iets plan on our original meet for today.

Location/Address: Chaucers of Addison -> 5080 Spectrum Drive, Addison, TX 75001
If you've never been to chaucers, it has a cool underground parking garage. Great for photo opportunities and you don't have to worry about the elements. ;-)

Cars and Coffee Takes place the first Saturday of every month Youll see everything from Lamborghinis to Hondas here...And yes, theres actually coffee too (I know you were worried about that part).

Time: **If you would like to park with the group, you need to be there by 7:00am at the latest...Most of us are usually there by 6:45am.

I thought id see what this thread is up to these days... Sheena! i got my car registered with Texas plates soooo now I'm considering gutting my CAT like you did a while back. Has the car been accepting that change in restriction or is your dash giving you a light?

The car shoots a CEL constantly, but you can still have the car inspected if you do it properly.
If you don't want to see a constant CEL, you can always get the cobb AP and hide the code...but that's a bit of a pricey option.
Side Note to Everybody:
Tonight is the DFW Mazdas meet!...I'm not sure if I am going to be able to make it or not.
