The Super Street Tour is coming to Fort Worth Sept 14th!! We're rounding up all the car clubs and car guys to pre-meet in Arlington and then roll out to the Enkei Warehouse *ALL TOGETHER!* DFWCC will have it's photographers and video team to cover the pre-meet and cruise. May have additional media coverage!

All you people in Dallas and Fort Worth want to show that we have a car scene here? Let's make a huge impression on these magazines! It's time for DFW to get it's recognition of having a Texas sized car scene!!!

Location: America's Best Coffee (3751 Matlock Rd Arlington, TX 76015 map below)

All drivers must sign-in at the coffee shop to participate in the 'cruise' to Fort Worth. Enkei is also looking for show vehicles for their Enkei wheels. This is your opportunity to provide us with your contact information for us to get your ride featured! Register for the car show with DFWCC.

NOTE: The reason the date is on a Wednesday is because they are all going to the NOPI Nationals in Atlanta this weekend. The Super Street "Tour" as it is called is a road trip that starts on the West Coast and makes its way to Atlanta over the course of a week.

Understand why they are doing this on a weekday before coming off all half-cocked guys.

ok uncivilracer....you cna't make a drive to georgia in a couple of hours...beleive my i tried....the 8 just isn't fast enough. killjoy was just helping you understand your ignorance in posting what you said. it usually take a couple of day to cruise from here to the NOPI nationals. but if you can make the faster you can meet everyone at Enkei on friday...hope that is better for your schedule!:D

What I am trying to do is keep you guys form sticking your foot in your mouths and looking like dumbasses for lambasting this weekday meet when there is a valid logistical reason. (i.e. part of the tour to Atlanta, GA)

FWIW - there should be details avalible by the middle of next week regarding a possible counter-meet. The promoters of the "Remeber the Alamo meet" (working title) are trying to bring things together quickly.

They see to be having some problems securing a location right now though.

I still think ir's idiotic to have a show in the middle of the week regardless of logistical reasons, I knew about that part and I still think it's stupid. Having to throw the show on a hump day just to make a bigger/whatever show further down the road proves their idiocy and lack of respect for this state and its enthusiasts. If they wanted to do it up right then pick a series of weekends prior to NOPI and call that a "tour". Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I like my shows on weekends, at least then it give us working people Friday night to prepare and Sunday to recuperate, but on a Wednesday? Even if I wanted to go I'd be screwed due to work schedule etc.. so I say again, in my best Cartman voice, "screw these guys...weak...totally weak...breaking my ***** here stupid street...breaking my *****" :D

I can't beleive they defamed the alamo in there magazine. I am boycotting the event, and also the magazine. I am actually boycotting both also because its lame r*cer cr*p, but i guess the alamo/texas insults didn't help there case.
