The email i got( im sure you guys got it too) from charles park said they got out of the factory the 20th and they had to wait on us customs to let them pick it up or something, but that was like the 21st and nothing after that.

 

I wouldn't worry too much; Powertrix has run a good number of GB's so is experienced with this sort of thing.

I have the utmost confidence that Charles@powertrix (owner) will get these coils out to you guys the second they arrive (and are paid for in full, no doubt). It's difficult to say what could have come up, but it seems some sort of delay may have occurred, causing the additional wait. Keep in mind that the last update I gave referenced late August and the last email dated 8/25 did have the following text:
I've got my fingers crossed for everyone and do apologize for the delay, on behalf of Powertrix. In my experience, it is beneficial to underestimate ETA's but in the case Powertrix, I am not the one who denotes ETA's, but rather he who helps communicate the message.

Based on the info provided, there's really no reason for concern, though I can understand being anxious. If anyone has any questions or concerns, feel free to let me know. For those of you who have been around 8club for a good while - Don't worry, we aren't in another Shine FEED replica front/sides situation here, haha!

 

Hopefully these will come in next week before I take my vacation for 9 days... I would love to put these on for my trip up to norcal to test em out....

It's sort of funny - I am neither the manufacturer nor the customer yet I'm really anxious to get these out to everyone. Your RX8's deserve better handling and ride height asap!

So, let's plan a covert operation to break into customs and take the pallets loaded with our coilovers so we can get these installed. Anyone else down?

I called Charles yesterday and he said they're sitting in a customs warehouse, they need to hurry their asses up!

 

At least they're here. Every passing day they sit at customs is a day closer for them to release it.

I'm so down for that plan. Let me just kayak 2700 miles to Cali first, pm you when I'm there.

1. Notification of Shipment landing – CONFIRMED
2. US Customs inspection and Release – Expected TODAY 09-12-11
3. Shipment pick up – Expected TOMORROW 09-13-11
4. Final dispersal of coilovers to individual buyers (notification of tracking numbers) 09-13-11

If anything, we can get a set of the higher rate springs ordered for the next batch Powertrix has coming over and just swap them over when they arrive.

Just got another update from Charles at Powertrix.

Coilovers are shipping today, 9/14! Tracking numbers should be provided by the end of the day.
Can't wait to get these on the car...
