Mine showed up today in the post. Couldn't be much more simple to install. Feels nice. Will try it out tomorrow morning in rush hour on the way to the dealer to have the recall mods installed.

I talked to Angelo the other day about them making RX-8-specific knee pads which should be available in about a month or so. Hopefully there will be a similar group buy for those as well.

 

I got mine, installed it and really like it. Now after a long road trip, instead of having two sore elbows, I'll just have one! :-)

I recommend getting one.

Yep, want the knee pads too. I wear shorts to work most of the year (yep, hi-tech casual in Austin) and the knees really get a beating when I'm playing with Roxy.

 

Count me in if you have another group buy. I would love to have one. Wish I had not missed out on this one.

I ordered this console pad straight from Angelo. I received it promptly this past weekend and it took a massive 5 seconds to install. The 2 great things about it are that it definitely feels better than the hard plastic & it blends in perfectly with the car interior. Great job.

wow, zoom5 is that the knee rest you are designing? i get banged up knee and thought I might need to get of these.
any plans for Aussie version? (i.e. right side driving..) or can it work both sides?
not sure about the one on the speaker..
