Thx ! How about the brand of o2 Sensor ?
Fwiw, some members prefer the Denso plugs, but the consensus opinion appears to be NGK.

Received mine earlier this week and was able to get out of work early today so I decided, to get it done. Installation was easy as anything else. The directions they provided were spot on and everything came that was needed in the kit just like they said it would. Even I was able to do the install in about 1.5 hours without any hiccups. It took just a little more work to install these on mine than it did the BHR setup on Dom's 8, but not much at all.

I didn’t initially grasp just how meaty these coils are by the pictures but they certainly are. The kit was very well constructed.

Before these I was running on stock coils. The initial test drive, about 20 miles city/interstate, was just great. Acceleration was definitely improved and was much more even throughout the whole range of the tach. I am very impressed with these. I’m not a mechanic, just a hobbyist but so far this is just an awesome set up.

I don’t have any numbers because like I said I’m not a mechanic, but there is definitely an overall noticeable improvement between these and the stock coils. Based on the initial drive, I would definitely recommend this setup.

Thanks guys

We just got this email from a customer yesterday (though on an FD setup), but we get something to this effect every couple weeks. These coils really do perform as well as people claim they do on a rotary, and is why we continue to spend so much effort to develop around them.

"SBG,

My baby is finally back on the road. The kit showed up on Tuesday. Had to wait until this weekend to get it installed.

Took my first drive post-fix today. Ran BEAUTIFULLY. Smooth as glass. I had done a spark test on the coils when I was diagnosing the first startup issue, and the spark is crazy strong. Its no wonder the little stumbles and misses I had here and there are totally gone. This is absolutely the smoothest my baby has ever ran. Given that my maps are more or less the same, I have to contribute the changes to the ignition system upgrade.

Anyway, great kit. Very pleased with it. Looking forward to eventually picking up an HID conversion kit, and an electric water pump kit.

Thanks,
Brad"

Hoss, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I called them last month, and such a product is in the prototype stage. (Sorry SBG. I couldn't resist!)

Ok sorry to derail our own thread... we'll start a new thread for the EWP setup but if we're on the topic I might as well do a post here for that. We're waiting on a production run of the RX8 pump plates now, the kit will be very similar to our current FD kit (which has been flying off the shelves for the last few months) but with an RX8 (fits both S1 and S2) flow plate, the digital pump controller, and the awesome Davis Craig EWP150 high flow pump. We're aiming for the price point to be around the FD kit range. I can give you guys more details but I'd rather start a new thread rather than derail the coil thread.

Here's a quick teaser video showing a bit of the flow testing and principles behind the design

How about RX-8 specific fire extinguisher holder please?
Oh yeah, and please make it at the Miata holder price, not the RX-7 price. Yikes!

Don't worry, we have one in the works for the 8. If there's interest from the community we'll reproduce them, but we want/need one for our cars so we're at least making a few.

The reason the Miata one is cheaper is because of the option to not use the machined quick release assembly that we produce and to just use the free band clamp mount that comes with the Amerex/H3R extinguishers. All of the new designs will be made to accommodate either style holder to allow people to have a cheaper solution. Without the SBG Quick release assembly it should be priced around where the Miata one is.

Want. Don't make me try to fabricate one myself. There would be blood, burnt flesh, and missing fingers.

That's not good! Best avoid that I'll get my engineer on it once we're done with a few other small projects since it's a relatively simple kit.

So I finally got around to installing these- WOW what a difference ! Car runs WAY better now and i've noticed very steady acceleration power when driving.
My Idle is super steady now also. (It used to almost stall at stops).
Installation was pretty simple and Keith from SakeBomb Garage helped me with a question I had. I ended up routing the stock power wires on the top/side of the new coils- thats just what worked out the best for me.
The only issue I had was the new supplied plug wires are EXACTLY the right length, so they were a little tough getting snapped on.
Other than that this kit rocks man, I would buy again in a heartbeat !
