I guess Ill start with the side markers and go from there. Also makes troubleshooting easier if I swap them out in stages, as apposed to all at once. Thanks guys.

I have Polag Hyper-red Rear Turn signal lights because LED turn signal lights did not work. It blinked twice as fast as normal, which became completely annoying after a while. If using the resistors isn't your thing, just go with other high-performance lights that are not the LED lights.

It's very easy to install. You will end up removing the door panels and the side mirrors. Total install is under an hour, less if you've removed a door panel before.

Since he already provided the link to the instructions up above, there is no harm in sharing the link. Go here http://rx8.becomeanidiot.com/puddlelights.pdf and see how difficult you think it will be. If you have any mechanical ability at all it should be a breeze. The electrical part is even easier and you're not likely to break anything with the electrical portion.

Everyone should jump on the puddle lights before Shaz quits making them. They are so cool.

Just installed mine. I'm getting ready to go out for a drive and see how they look at night. Question...has anyone had any problems with shorting out due to water getting to the contacts or bulb somehow? Just curious to see if any one has had any problems yet.

The install was relatively easy except for the darn door panel clips. After I got the door panel off some of them were still on the door and one in the same spot on both doors cracked (still usable though). Would help if you can get a hold of a few extra of these just in case. Other than that pretty simple.

Thanks Shaz!!!!

^ Thanks, I was just curious. I usually have no where to go at night but now I want to drive somewhere just so I can see and show off the cool lights. LOL

Yep, had mine in since December and no issues. I'd venture to say that it rains alot more down here in the swamp but you got a lot more ice and snow!
Those damn door clips are a pain in the *** aren't they!

I wanted to know if I can install these lights on other cars. I love the lights so much that I want to install them in my wife's Mercedes. I am thinking about getting the blue light set.

I have all red Led interior lights including RR's footwell lights, but I feel that the puddle lights are the coolest. When it's dark outside and I let all lights come on, more people have complimented on the puddle lights than anything else.

Might be able to. I was actually thinking about creating a modified version for cars that don't have the housing. I'll keep you posted.

I'm a complete idiot when it comes to car stuff, but the directions are SOOOO detailed even I could do it! They look great and the install isn't that bad at all.. just set aside a couple of hours of free time to play around with everything.
